Do you need to be American to sign the petition? Do you know if there are equivalents to this, only for other countries?
You would need to be a Citizen of the US for your vote to count.
If they check the names (which they do) the entire page of names could be disqualified for one unqualified name.
Thanks for the info. I did not know they allowed this in the UK and Aussie and NZ; pleasantly surprising.
