Title: Two wolves
Post by: Bdnewgirl on November 04, 2005, 08:57:16 AM
I got this in my E-mail thought I would share it.

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about the battle that goes on inside people.

He said "My son,the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, gult, resenment, infferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"

The old Cheokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I have to say that telling lifes lessons through metaphores and fables seems to add so much meaning.
