How many Jelly Beans are in this jar?

No purchase necessary to enter. The person who guesses the correct number of jelly beans wins. Jelly beans counted on a Transcell Technologies calibrated counting scale. Contest ends when we have a winner!
Prize information: Winner receives all the jelly beans, and the jar. Winner assumes all responsibility. Winner pays shipping. Susan's Place and Devlyn bear no responsibility for weight gain. Jelly beans are bad, m'kay?

The scale is used to count electronic parts that are much smaller than jelly beans, so the accuracy is spot on. The scale was zeroed with a ziploc bag on it, given forty jelly beans as a sample to establish weight, then the rest of the beans were poured into the bag. The jar and cap weren't involved in the weighing and counting.
To everyone who ventured a guess: No.
@Anna, was that the binary bounce you were dancing?
@Sarah, I got my eye on you with your eye on my jelly beans!
Feel free to guess again, I already gave you a hint, there are at least 41 jelly beans in there. Hugs, Devlyn
it's a trick, the jellybeans are actually just a sticker or insert inside. tat was done to replace the jelly beans that were eaten over time by various members on here. I call dibs on the greens.

It's a trick. There are no jelly beans in the jar because there is no jar. it's just an image of a jar of jelly beans. If it were real, do you think it would still be full right now?
Besides, how do we know it isn't a CG rendering? After all, I have the skills to make a computer model and make it appear as though it were real and solid.

There should a rule against guessing more than once...contest closes on (date)...exact number gets the entire prize...if no exact winner, closest (high or low) gets the jar and beans, minus one handful (DM's handling fee for non-exact players)

I looked at how many showed on one side and going by the width of the jar, tried to guess how many would be in it that way considering you had all around the outside and then a narrowing down to the middle. Still tough though, especially to get it exact. How far off was I on an earlier guess? and which guess was it, lol?

Ok, girls. (And guys, and frogs) Time to solve this problem - with LOGIC.
Let's do a binary search algorithm. Someone start with the number halfway between 1523 and 1200; I'll start the numbers between 1542 and 1536. (Less likely to be here as there are fewer entries)
Whomever Devlyn says is closest, we then take the midpoints on either side of her and repeat.
1539?
Yeah, use logic...........

Or we could cheat and ask how big is the jar and how many bags were used to fill it. Looks like about a bag and a half maybe. And then ask what kind of jelly beans they. Haha.

The Sun is conjunct Venus, Mars and Uranus in Aries, and Uranus has just formed an aspect with Saturn in Pisces which means that people born under the sign of Capricorn might surprise you by telling jokes.

Wait... You've been (implied) eating them this whole time... How many are there now?
So, will you actually be taking possession of the jarful of beans, or can I release them to my coworkers here?
I can take them. Although they'll certainly be released to coworkers anyway. I'll DM about shipping.
Congratulations ZoeM!!
Thanks to everyone who played, I had fun this last week. Special thanks to Susan, who lets me hijack her forums. Extra special thanks to Susan for not declaring herself the winner and taking the jelly beans! <running away>
Dang!!! My visions of sling shot fodder are dashed in a single moment!!! >:-)
Hmmmm :eusa_think: *Seems it would be cheaper to just buy your own jelly beans than to pay the postage of mailing the jarful*
But then she wouldn't get the jar
But jelly beans are only sold one day of the year. The day after Easter, and 90% off!
The beans are on the way, and I got Ma'am at the post office after a two minute conversation. I'm in boy mode, so that makes me pretty happy!
thats awesome you getting ma'amed, now lets hope the post office drug dog doesnt get a whiff.
It's funny, I got Missed and Ma'amed all the time when I was young, long before I ever thought of crossdressing. I hated it, and kept a crew cut for decades to make sure people would know I was male. Now my hair is growing out and I'm confusing people again, but now I love it. Hugs, Devlyn
um if you dont mind , um where do you identify Devlyn on the great prism know as transness lol just because i was gonna say you look awesome if your transitioning and if you identify only as crossdressing then I really need to get together with you because you you do a remarkable job with your look and i want to know all your tips and tricks. ;D
Flattery will get you everywhere! I am a MTF crossdresser, I currently have no plans to transition. I've seen plenty of posts and messages from people who thought they were crossdressers, then later transitioned, so I'm leaving that door open. Hugs, Devlyn
well the first thing i typed at 9 years old on my quest for who i was, was crossdresser in the little search box on a antique windows 95 aol 3.0 computer and low and be hold 17 years later i have tits lol so i totally understand Huggies, Maddy
about those jelly beans...I had from a good source that Cheney and Bush were seen around them,...I think a recount is in order...preferably by a independent source

So much for the Woman-in-the-middle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_in_the_middle_attack) plan...

As the Beanstress and a staunch conservative, I would like to request that Cheney jokes be kept to a respectful minimum. Like, ten per day tops.
That's ten per person, right?
I think it's ten per person per thread...
Uh... Maybe per post?
10 per person per thread per login, wait can dick/bush count that high? ok first one done ;D
Well, if Obama helps, they can count to fifty-seven.
