Title: It really does work
Post by: Riley Skye on April 05, 2013, 01:55:51 PM
So I've been taking meds for my hair and its been working fantastic, hairs growing back nice and good although rather unevenly. I honestly didn't expect my hair to grow back and now that it is I'm happy to go outside and not be ashamed.

On another not my hormones seem to be working as I am now officially in the beginning stages of breast growth, got a small lump under my nipples and my it hurts. So hoping within the next few months I can start passing and maybe go full time by summers end!

Curious: Which hair meds? Low-dose Finasteride? Minoxidil? Does it affect your hairline?

Meh. I'm doing the same thing and all it seems to be good for is keeping my hair on my head. Except I'm constantly shedding, and it's driving me crazy. :(
I hope it keeps working for you. :)

I read that means that weaker hairs are falling out to make new o es grow in. Hopefully it'll work out well for you!

I've got a crappy hairline and I'd like to try this, is it OTC or script?

Minoxidil is over the counter and finasteride/propecia is by script

Does anyone know about the meds which remedy grey hair? :P My hairline is fine due to my genetics - no balding issues in my family - but the price for this is getting grey hair as of age of 24...
Nothing does yet, although I don't think it will be too long before they sort it out. :)  I have seen some people claim 'melanotan' does, but since it also made their moles change, that sounds like a generally bad idea.

In regards to the OP - they'll keep coming back slowly for years.  I didn't have much of a problem in this area but I notice I have more hair on the sides than I used to years and years ago.

Is that really true?  When I took 10,000mcg of Biotin, I started shedding hair constantly.  Maybe I should have stuck with it instead of panicking and lowering my dose :P

I was looking into Fast hair shampoo. Has anyone tried it does it work? supposed to make your hair grow twice as fast.
