Changing hands are something I hadn't really thought about. I get a little down sometimes because I have tiny, delicate hands that I never thought would look masculine enough. But at least now they're hairy veiny tiny delicate hands. I guess they're stronger and less soft-looking, too.
What are some other changes on T that you didn't really expect, or hadn't thought about?
wow that's a pretty drastic change!
Three things I never expected, one for my feet to get bigger....I've heard it happening to some people but not usually my age and I certainly didn't expect two sizes bigger after such a short time.
Two, my nails, they're way stronger now, they used to be really brittle and barely grow, even if they did they would break off straight away. Now I actually have to use nail clippers for the first time in my life.
Thirdly, my iron levels are finally normal and I no longer have to take supplements ;D
I didn't expect my eyebrows to get thicker. :D
My hands did that too. I also wasnt expecting cheek hair (like in the cheekbone area); turns out its common with the males in my family.
I expected body hair, but not on the underside of my upper arm. Lol. Uh...the rest was expected I think. My feet grew a size, I know that can happen but I didn't think it would happen to me since I started T at 23.
I wasn't expecting as much body hair. I knew I was going to get it eventually but I didn't know it was going to be all "HAI UR GONNA GET THIS FIRST!"
Also, my hands haven't done that at all. They look the same as they have been. Feet didn't change in size (I always had big feet).
Ditto on the body hair and underarms. I expected it, but blimey, enough already. Back in my married days, I thought my ex was extremely hairy. Now.. I'm hairier. Yeah Karma, I see what you did there.
Also, I didn't expect I'd be able to put on a wool sweater with nothing underneath and be fine with it. Wool on skin used to make me omggetitoffgetitoffnow-crazy.
(Well come to think of it, I *am* wearing a fur coat at all times.. that could be it :p )
I didn't expect my body heat to increase so much. I used to need a lot more layers on a cold day than I do now, and on hot days I'm kinda screwed and will end up drowning in sweat no matter how light I dress.
I did not expect a) so much body hair and b) to shed so much of it. It comes in thickly in places I never had any (chest, back, upper arms and shoulders). And then by the end of the day it's all over my undershirt from my back and chest and coming out in the shower when I wash my hair. I guess they both sort of cancel each other out but it's bizarre. I'm sure I'm getting this to a greater degree because of my ethnic background but it was nothing like this pre-T.
hair in my nose >:(
I would venture to guess those hands are not of the same person, finger bones don't shrink like that.

I have this going on right now.
What is the best way to solve this problem? Those spinning trimmer deals? For some reason, the idea of sticking one of those up my nose is terrifying. Yet, I need a solution because there is a forest situation happening.

I dont mind them, I think there way less painfull than picking out hair. I could never do that.
the annoying part is just to use it in the first place.

There's scissors made to trim nose hairs.

It's the same guy. I don't see any finger bone shrinkage but if basically his entire body changed like that, he's had the most intense testosterone results I've ever seen.
I follow that guy on tumblr, the pics are legit. He has a youtube as well, he had really amazing changes on testosterone all around.
The first photo it looks like he's groping someone's backside? Lul.
Either way, I wasn't expecting an Adam's apple to appear.

I think it's an illusion from the muscles and stuff having thickened up so much.
- Feet got bigger, I was kind of surprised actually... a lot of my nice leather shoes from pre-t don't fit now.
- increased level of self worth. Not just like in feeling better about myself but if someone does something stupid or says something rude to me or is an ass, I'm more more vocal about letting that person know they've been an ass. Before I would just kind of sit there and ignore them, now i'm much more likely to call them on it.
- Scent changed. Kind of a weird one but i've noticed my personal scent has changed slightly, obviously to do with the increased hormone levels, not a bad scent, just a different scent. I don't notice it now cause i'm used to it but when it first started to happen it was weird. You know how everyone and their house has it's own scent? Yeah it felt like I was new to me lol.
- The change in sexual orientation was a big one I didn't expect. I was dead certain i'd stay gay. I suppose I still mostly am but still.
- I'm way more open to eating meat now... I used to not eat anything but chicken and fish in the meat area, now I've eaten cow, buffalo, pig, alligator and frog... I really want to try deer and rabbit (sorry to all the veggies out there!), I also have the weirdest athletic cravings. It took awhile to kick in but now I want to hunt and run and climb trees lol, oh and I have an increased drive to 'rough house' not like violence or anything like that but just demonstrations of manliness in a wrestle.
Yeah those are my weird changes since i'd been on T. They may not all be caused by the hormone but they've all occurred in the last 7 months soooooo...
With regards to the OP's photos, I have no doubt those are legit. Woman have a thin layer of fat under their skin, it offers extra resources for when they get pregnant, males don't have it for this reason (well unless your a fluffy male) when we go on T, skinnier guys will notice their veins show through the skin more because the layer of fat that was there preventing them from seeing the veins is gone. Look at any guys hands compared to any girls, or their forearms. You'll notice more veins and tendons showing on the man than the female.
A hairy butt.
There. I said it.

I'm thinking it's because of a different angle the photo was taken at.
As for changes, acne is such a pain. I never had much of a problem during my "first puberty" with acne... but now it's just going wild. Maybe not so much on my face, but my chest and back are a warzone of angry pimples. I never had to deal with acne on my moobs before. I blame my binder for it because the acne is all on my upper back and just my chest. And I swear it just doubles daily. Oh, and the acne on my face pops up overnight. And it's like, "Yo, hey, I wasn't here last night, but now I've moved in and you've gotta pop me now!" It's kind of horrible.
And hair. I was a hairless cretin before T, and now my stomach's all fuzzy. My boyfriend is probably sick of hearing me talk about it, but it's still so exciting (especially since I was fairly hairless beforehand.)
I've gotta agree about the smell, too. Both just natural sweat (of which gets produced a lot more even if I'm not that active) and "downstairs" smell. It's kinda weird/gross (sorry for those squeamish folk) to say, but my junk smells very similar, if not exactly the same as my boyfriend's junk. So, yeah there's that. I'm not complaining about it, I just wasn't expecting it. I feel all the more manly for it, haha.

Yep, same here. The other, I haven't had any illness going on since starting T, before I was sick all the time.
Since hands were mentioned, I went digging for a pre-t pic to compare with today.

My hands have changed too and my feet seem more muscular to me but they didn't change size.
I didn't expect my butt to shrink so much and so quickly, I used to wear jeans with a 32 waist and they fit fairly snug, now I have to wear a belt because they are baggy and I fit 30 inch waists.

Your post made me go look in the mirror lol. I used to have a bum but now it's flatter lol, I hadn't noticed, unfortunately for me it seems the fat just moved around to my gut instead.
So, my wife has said for years that I don't have a butt ... however according to my measurements my waist is getting smaller. However, that being said I have been losing weight.
I can't comment on changes cause I am really not getting any
My body hair has doubled in the past almost 4 months since starting injections. I thought I was hairy before but I'm seriously worried in a few years I'm going to be as hairy as Robin Williams.
The pattern it grows is odd. I'll notice random hairs start getting longer then the rest of the hairs catch up to them. It's gnarly, my leg hair is almost connected to the hair on my feet. Seriously follicles, stop.
I've heard that the neck circumference supposedly increases.. anyone have that?
And the feet... I need new shoes again, mine're three sizes larger than they were last year.

Not a single, solitary one of my button-down shirts fit me anymore and solely because of this reason. Half of those also do not fit anymore because of the shoulder widths too. I can still wear the ones that don't fit my neck open, but otherwise they are extremely irritating to my entire tracheal area of my neck. The collars of them all push it back into itself painfully.
I already was a 16-17" neck! It's going to be a PITA for me to find those kinds of shirts in a 18-20" neck and that appropriately fit the rest of me too. Will definitely not be a average-Joe department store find... :-\

Didn't happen to me.
I've been on T for over a year and my feet are the same size.

I've also experienced this. It's uncomfortable to do up the top button on a lot of my shirts that previously fit.

Sorry for bumping this topic back up again but it's interesting. This also has happened to me though not as much as I'd like. I've gone from a 12 1/2 inch neck to 13 inch but it stopped increasing early on and hasn't done since. My friend however also had a 12 1/2 inch neck pre-T but his has increased to 14 1/2 inches. Neither of us put on weight so it must be the T and I guess it's down to genetics how much bigger it gets.
Wow. What a drastic change for his hands! Mine are still incredibly feminine and beautiful lol. Actually when I come out to people, they always say the only thing they can notice that's not completely male about me are my hands. I took a pic for fun...

^ Four years of testosterone and they still look like that.
As for unexpected changes. I never thought I'd need to own a nose hair trimmer, but I have one now. Also never thought about getting the 'horns' some people get when angry, the ones at the end of your eyebrows kinda above your nose. If anyone knows what I'm talking about haha, never got them before T but get them now.
O I remember about 8-9 weeks on T, all of my clothes being slightly more snug around my shoulders & neck. Didn't expect that to happen so fast, and wasn't really thinking about neck width at all as a possible change.
