I noticed there's a lot of books on here with no replies to the thread, but i thought i would give this one a bash anyway
the dice man by luke rhinehart is possibly one of my top 5 books - ever
I've just gotten round to actually putting books in the bookcase and I'm rereading it - i forgot how much i loved it...
just wondered if anyone else had read it ?
Yeah I read it, enjoyed it too. Not sure I would now, I think I may find it annoyingly new age.
haha 'annoyingly new age' i'm like that.. im like a 50 yr old trapped in a 23 yr old body. I hate everything new including wireless internet (which im hypocritically on now) HD tv, digital animation.. and other things :D I have actually said 'music/tv/etc' arent what they were when i was young :|
I wasn't made for the future, I don't even have a portable phone.
I just ordered the book from Amazon on your say so. I will let you know what I think after I have a chance to read it. I usually find that I really enjoy books recommended by others. Of course, I a real book person anyway.
awesome - I really hope you enjoy it. I too am looking for some suggestions for booka to buy so if anyone can recommend any, id be more than greatful
