June 8, 7:30-10 p.m., "Normal" starring Jessica Lange and Tom Wilkinson followed by discussion with members of the transgender community.
June 9, 9 a.m. to noon, "Deconstructing Stereotypes," introductory course in transgender experience and a forum led by members of the transgender community. Noon, lunch, followed by workshops.
June 10, 10 a.m., The Rev. Erin Swenson will preach at worship.
Two of the members of my group therapy with Erin are attending. Unfortunately I couldn't because Dee will be at Muscular Dystrophy summer camp doing crafts with the kids starting that weekend and I wouldn't have anyone to stay with mom. Otherwise I would be there.
