Hi!!!
Was watching this video and then I was like OMG it's the lady from Red Without Blue - I loved that documentary and was looking for similar videos when I came accross this accidently.
Not sure if I am posting this again and if this has been posted earlier or even if it's the right section (mods please help ???)
here is the link: Transsexual Documentary: "American Transgender"-From National Geographic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyjjPb4zmr0#)
It seems to be a good video and I haven't watched it completely yet but I thought I would post it here.
The wedding made me cry. Still sniffling.
Awesome video! Great ending and I loved the dress.
The wedding scene was the best in the documentary. It really is very touching and brings hope to a lot of us, who at times feel alone in our lives.
I also loved the detail where they added a cutting of several clips of TG/TS persons who have posted videos on YouTube some of which are videos which I like.
I have a hard time watching these and other stories about trans people. They are great information for those who don't know us but they are a reminder to me of the pain of transition and the struggles I've faced and still faced. In my case things have gone smoother than expected but it breaks my heart to hear stories (the reality checks of the documentary) about my brothers and sisters struggling and our similar pains and it hurts too much. :-\
This Video Was Amazing <3 <3 <3
