Before hormones my were are a pretty deep brown, sometimes a bit hazel in quality but not totally. But when I looked in the mirror tonight I can say with certainty that my eyes turned into a dark olive green although it was a gradual shift since starting hormone.
This is just crazy ;D, they have never been THIS green before. Obv its not a night and day change here, its just like a gradation more green that is now drowning out the brown.
This happen to anyone else?
Yeah, mine was very light blue before and kind of cold. Now they are more dark blue and have a little glimmer to them.
I wonder how this can happen?
Well that is very interesting. I wonder how and if mine would change. They're black :-\
I love looking at people's eyes. Quite lovely.
If I find anything in the literature, ill be sure to post it :)

I guess it depends if any other colors are mixing in there. I would stop short of calling it a true green, its not as vibrantly green. Just very interesting to see in the mirror ^^
I found a sorta answer from wikipedia,
QuoteHazel eyes are due to a combination of Rayleigh scattering and a moderate amount of melanin in the iris' anterior border layer.[4][28] Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a brown to a green. Although hazel mostly consists of brown and green, the dominant color in the eye can either be brown/gold or green. This is how many people mistake hazel eyes to be amber and vice versa.[54][55][56][57][58][59][60] This can sometimes produce a multicolored iris, i.e., an eye that is light brown/amber near the pupil and charcoal or dark green on the outer part of the iris (or vice versa) when observed in sunlight.
Definitions of the eye color hazel vary: it is sometimes considered to be synonymous with light brown or gold, as in the color of a hazelnut shell.[54][56][59][61]
Hazel eyes are common throughout Caucasoid populations, in particular in regions where blue, green and brown eyed peoples are intermixed.
But I guess its affected by hormonal shifts to lol
