I'm currently in one of the cities that's under lockdown while the manhunt for the second Marathon bombing suspect, Dzhokar Tsarnaev, is going on, so I wanted to be sure that everyone in the area is safe!
The MBTA is completely shut down until further notice.
Watertown is under total lockdown, with no vehicle traffic allowed.
People in Newton, Belmont, Cambridge and Boston are encouraged to stay inside.
Here's a link to one of the many news stories covering this. (http://www.boston.com/metrodesk/2013/04/18/mit-police-officer-hit-gunfire-cambridge-police-dispatcher-says/UAbtwLVGLwBE5VI7BUyQuL/story.html)
Edit: Somerville is now under voluntary shelter-in-place.
Be safe! Hugs, Devlyn
The police need to go in and end this one way or the other. And stop holding entire towns hostage.
My guess is there will be a bloodbath when they corner this clown.
Thinking of everyone in Boston. Please be safe!
Shana
To share, here's their uncle pretty much disowning them:
