Title: An introduction from an old member
Post by: Jess92 on April 25, 2013, 03:50:02 PM
I had an account here in the past. I was "Trixie". I deleted my account because... well, doubts mostly, and several other reasons.

I'm back though.

I'm still untransitioned and pre-everything. Transitioning is still something I want to do though for some reason and I guess I'm going to try and see if I can make things work. It might be my last try. I've told myself (years ago) if I haven't gone to therapy and came out to people by the time I'm 22 then I'd drop the whole thing. Have kept on that plan. We will see.

Hi Jess/Trixie, :icon_wave:

Welcome back to our little family. Over 11004. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

And be sure to re-read these links ( MUST READS ) (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-8.gif&hash=d9498942f8bbb4bf3ad29af75944ea5e1135c6fa)

Jess, there is no reason you should set deadlines for yourself.  You are what you are, and transition, if it happens, will happen when you are ready.

Welcome to this place!

I remember when I was young...back in the pre-dawn of history...I didn't think I'd be alive to see 30...time is funny that way though, if you're not dead you just keep on living...

22 is pretty darn young, you Jungenin Vhipperschnapper...it's an odd goal, to not be yourself after a certain age. I'd urge you to re-think that sort of certainty. Give yourself a chance. Give yourself some time. Even if you have no money and no job, you can still give chances (and of course, you have all the time in the world).

And Jamie D is right:

QuoteYou are what you are, and transition, if it happens, will happen when you are ready.

*hugs*
