Title: To The Resident Musicians, Singers, Vocal Coaches and People with Music Exp.
Post by: Little Red Alt Girl on April 29, 2013, 01:27:04 AM
I have been told for quite some time that I have no visible adam's apple naturally and I have seen an Endo who says I have naturally abnormally low Testosterone levels...my question is this...WHY DO I CLOCK IN AT A BARITONE TENOR RANGE WHEN SINGING!!!! And what do I do to change that. Also On a secondary note, I have been told Estrogen does nothing for Vocal Changes but a few of my friends have told me that is not true and all of the trans women friends they have all acquired higher voices and vocal ranges when starting HRT. Needless to say I am really lost and confused. But then again that is my normal state of being.

Chest resonance.  I really don't think HRT changes the vocal cords.
