Title: Leg pains after med use
Post by: Terra on June 01, 2007, 04:54:01 PM
I was just wondering, all those ladies and gents out there, do you get bad pains in your legs after injections?

To be more specific, I will do an injection as taught by both my own training and at the doctor's office. Then after a day or to the injection site begins to get really sore which lasts for maybe 2-7 days. Occurs on both legs, so it can't be simply hitting a nerve.

Anyone out there having same trouble? Or am I going to have to liken this to a 'period'? If this is against site rules I'll remove immediately.

You mean like, an intramuscular estrogen injection?

When I've have my injections, that localized area is slightly sore, maybe for a few days, but its usually not bad enough for me to really notice unless I put a lot of pressure on it or I really pay attention. I don't really know how bad its 'supposed' to be though. If its very uncomfortable, it may be a good idea to consult your doctor about it.

Nothing..I'm not sore or anything at all. How big are your injections? Monthly? Bi-monthly?

I am doing weekly, no way am i having all that huge gob pumped in at once to last two weeks to a month.

I don't get any leg pain either.  Sounds like you might want to have the doctor check it out.  Are you using EC or EV IM.
