Title: Re: Varicose veins after SRS?

Hi Cherrie,

This postop time is a big hormonal shift, so it seems to me...  I always felt that Spiro left something to be desired, that having the T factories removed would change a lot.  So far for me, not so much.  I'm returning to pre-surgery form, thankfully (my boobs disappeared when I went off E, and they're slowly reappearing now).  But, thinner skin is another effect of E vs T.  Possibly you've had veins that weren't as visible before?  And, not knowing your age, can't guess if it's just something that appears with time...

I couldn't answer regards progesterone, or whether the product you're using is a combination of E & Progesterone - there's nothing decisive in Google

Ask your doctor...

I have to second Megan's advice on ask your doctor.  So much depends on age and skin condition.  We do have fat deposits more in the skin now and those could support the veins popping to the surface, also my age is in the top half of the 60's and family members had that happen to both genders when they got up to that age for the ones who did.

I've seen more in the way of varicose veins since my surgery. One of the trials of womanhood, I fear.
