Title: veiny hands/arms
Post by: Hideyoshi on May 08, 2013, 10:29:31 AM
Is there anything that can be done about veiny hands and arms? Will hrt do anything to them? I can't tell much of a difference so far. Anybody else have this issue? It's one of the many things that hurt my confidence

I don't think there's much you can do about them. I don't have that problem but my viens are really small. I had blood work done a couple of weeks ago and they had to dig to find the vien in my arms and I felt every movement of the needle. In your avatar, you look really skinny so maybe try to gain a little weight so the subcutaneous fat can kind of surround them and they won't be so noticeable. I would try searching googleto see what foods you can eat that will help with creating fat under the skin and not inside the abdomen.

This has been discussed recently:

The treatment is called sclerotherapy.

Nothing much can be done AFAIK

A lot of women both trans and cis, me included, have the same issue so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You could visit a doctor just to be safe.
