I generally just use an app on my phone.

It shows hz well enough, and it's practically free anyway.

I purchased a Seiko 1100 chromatic tuner for a guitar. It is set to 440 hz and is adjustable from 400 to 450 hz.

A0 = 27.5 hz
A1 = 55 hz
A2 = 110 HZ
A3 = 220 HZ
A4 = 440 hz

The tuner does not know if it is hearing a octive 0-4 ( A0-A4). So male average voice is A2 110HZ and Female A3 220 HZ. So when practicing in a high pitch is will led green within +/- 50 cents ( 12.5 HZ =/_). The tuner cost $30.00 on Amazon.com. It has a backlight too. So with my tapes from Lucile Sorrella, digital recorder amd chromatic tuner and computer program I will turn my car into a mobile sound studio and have 3 hours a day voice practice.

Best case I will unlearn the male language and learn the female language. I cannot wait!
