Hi i'm an intersex male (intersex-to-male)
So, my last shot was saturday evening.
I woke up on sunday morning with both my arms very sore(the kind of sore you get after hours of working out and weight training)
However i'd done no working out at all, and my injection was in my glute, no where near my arms. I'm extremely confused why my arms/body felt the way it did. even now my arms are still sore as if i'v been lifiting weights. the weird thing is the areas around my actual injection site are not sore at all, my legs/back are fine.
I'v been feel very lethargic also. I deal with depression and my shots usually help with my seratonin levels. the first few days after my shot are always great, so i was very surprised after my last shot why i felt so weak/lethargic and my depression spiked. (nothing to do with dysphoria btw) I know depression can sometimes be attributed to low Testosterone levels, but i'm pretty sure my levels aren't low.
Is this normal? am i just overreacting?
I'v been getting concerned that my shots aren't working, or something is wrong.
socrates101, have you checked your blood pressure as low blood pressure can do the same thing?
I haven't checked,
thank you for the advice! i didn't know that. I will go to my gp and get it checked tomorrow
For the record many pharmacies will either have a machine to check or the pharmacist will check for you.
Checking your blood pressure is a good first start. If the problem continues, you may need to see a doc for blood tests looking at thyroid function among other things. You could also have some sort of reaction to the carrier oil that the T is suspended in. Good luck and hope you feel better soon! JessicaH
