Ok, having to be "male" at work sucks. Ok, so it sucks period and sucks that nobody knows the real me period and so I have to hide Kayla.
Those that read my "help" thread know I hate the male scented stuff like body wash and all that jazz. So I bathe in O'lay Seven Effects and use the same type lotion when I get out the shower. Well, lots of perfume out there and some of it offered in the cheap knock-off at places like Walgreens. Well, my question...what's a perfume or body's pray that doesn't exactly scream "woman" but certainly doesn't say "man" either? Something that could be worn by either but leans towards the females. I want to wear this while I'm at work and around family. I currently use Secret deodorant and that can certainly be smelled if applied heavy enough.
Stay away from body spray. They're all nasty.
Well I like Happy but it's a bit much to wear dressed as my usual self. Haven't ever really used any body spray to be honest. So thanks for that heads up.
I'd say wear what makes you feel good. If you have enough on for other people to notice, you probably have too much on.
I have a Kenneth Cole cologne called reaction that is a bit of an androgynous smell, being a cologne it is meant for and marketed to men but its not the typical man-musk. it's light and fruity and smells good, when I did wear it I got plenty of compliments from the boys and girls. It's a nice early transition smell for the MTF crowd.
That's probably something I'd be interested in, thanks. I want something that's like "you smell kinda girly" but not exactly ready for "are you wearing women's perfume".
And of course for myself, I sure don't want the "man smell". I hate those peppery and musky smelling colognes and stuff. I'm off work today, took it off so I could enjoy Kayla before the weekend and I'm wearing Happy right now. And yea, it makes me happy.
Seems there isn't a lot out there that is borderline.
Years ago I used to wear CK1 now I just used Olay Lavendar Bodywash and don't really do smells but I prob smell femme.
Patchouli makes me wretch.
There's a mens cologne I've always liked and still wear from time to time.. It's called 'Grey Flannel' and has a violet scent base.. It's a nice floral scent that isn't too overpowering..
Stay away from anything in a can.. It will likely be a synthetic scent and simply won't last..
