Title: Coupons for hormone 'scripts?
Post by: Siege on May 17, 2013, 01:37:20 PM
Hello, friends. Long time, no see!

I recently lost my health insurance through the state, and today's the day I need to pick up a refill of my T (in a 10ml vial instead of the 1ml vial I've been getting at my clinic's pharmacy). I'm getting it from Walgreen's, which is the cheapest place in my area.

I was wondering if anyone's used GoodRx.com coupons to get a discount on their 'mones? With the coupon, I can get my prescription for less than $50 USD. Without it, it's about $106. If not GoodRx.com, have you used any other sort of coupon to pay for your medication?

And before I'm asked, I am planning to call the pharmacy once I get off work, but I'd like to know before then.

Many drug manufacturers also offer discounts or coupons. You could go to the web site of whomever makes the T and check it out. I'm not sure if there will be a discount card, but it's worth checking out.

I checked on my prescription status online, and Walgreens just says "testosterone cypionate" for the medication. No manufacturer or producer. :(

Thanks for the tip, though. I'll make sure to look up who makes the T after I get my vial later.
