Hi,
This board seems like a wonderful resource, and I'm happy to be here. This is actually my second post, but thought it would still be a good idea to introduce myself. So, hello!
Well then, hello, KindredCoda. Nice to meet you. :)

I'm dying to know a little more about you. How do you identify? What are your interests. What's on you mind these days?
Thank you for replying! I know all of the introductions get replies, but I still appreciate it. :)
Well, what's on my mind?
1) Not more than 10 minutes ago, I came out to my father as MtF. I'm really nervous about how that's going to go.
2) My hormones are really starting to kick in over the past few weeks, and I feel more myself than ever. I'm very happy to live in San Francisco. I'm 36 years old, and without living here, it would have been so much more difficult (or perhaps impossible) to start this journey.
3) I recently chose a new middle name and surname, and now have to start the legal name change process. It should be a messy legal adventure.

well I would say that is one hell of an introduction. Just came out then felt like coming and join here right afterwards. I have to say welcome though and I hope that all goes well with your father.
The people here will be here for support if you need it. :)
Hi Hon,
I missed your post.
Welcome!
Wow congratulations girl!!!! Just have the confidence and it will go OK.
It just may take time for him to get it straight in his head.
I'm in Adelaide South Australia and I've had not a problem.
Hugs
Cindy

I think it will go well. He extended an olive branch and asked the questions. I guess now the only concern is whether the answers are satisfactory to him.

Hi Hon,
I missed your post.
First off, * hugs * and thank you for the well wishes.
Well, it's no surprise no one's seen my first post... it was a reply to quite the old post on HRT and breast growth.

There you go! And a fellow Californian, too ;) We have quite a few Bay Area members. However, I am in sunny SoCal, and need to work on my tan.

The weather here (clouds and all) is mostly comfy for me, but it did take me a while to get used to the concept of microclimates.

Hello there and welcome! Is it Coda and you are a kindred soul? How should we address you new friend?
Hi KindredCoda, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 11313. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Hi!
Yes, Coda is the name I've chosen for myself. I like to think of myself as a kindred soul to those who love me, and whom I love in return. I've also always felt kindred with those I consider my sisters, that's why it's in my username.

Sorry for taking... a while... to respond. Better late than never?
SF is a pretty wonderful place, it's what helped me feel safe enough to transition in the first place!
Hi KindredCoda,
Welcome to the cool crowd! ;D

Welcome to the cool crowd! ;D
I'm just happy to be able to fill out my profile.
I have one question, though. How does one give others 'reputation'?

Just click the thumbs up or down and give a brief explanation why.
Welcome to the family! I just adore your hair. :)
