Title: flu and postop
Post by: milktea on May 22, 2013, 07:32:46 AM
Do not mix!!! I had the flu last week and oh boy that was bad. Every sneeze/cough hurt...and try holding them back during dilation! I would seriously advice anyone going for srs to get a flu vaccine in advance!

I got an upper respiratory infection the week after SRS (cold weather)... Coughing with a dilator inside the week after SRS is not something I'd want to do again. It sucks.

It's good to know I am not the only one to nearly send a dilator into orbit by sneezing!  Hay fever can do the damage too!!  It was not fun for me or you Cherry, but the image that comes to mind is enough to make me laugh hard enough to cause another ejection too.

lmao , I sneezed today and I swear the force behind the ejection could seriously harm someone !!!

You girls are so funny!  :)  Thank you for the warning, if I ever get to that stage.  (Note, I get my flu shot every year, but they are not 100% guaranteed)

Now if you just work on your aim... you can put someone's eye out with that thing.  ;)  ;D
