Title: Am I doing it wrong?
Post by: krakenshay on May 26, 2013, 08:45:18 AM
Just took shot 7 and a whole bunch of blood came out. I aspirated before and no blood came into the syringe. But I am still concerned that all the t came out with the blood.

Anyone know if this can happen? It sucks cause I feel like I should do another shot. But I won't cause I know that is probably not wise.

I have to wait another 7 days before I get to do another one, its hard not knowing if it worked or not,

Sigh.

you probably passed through a blood vessel happens to me about 1 30 times. No biggy really. Its possible that a small amount of testoterone was lost but nothing that would affect your levels too much. I have lost some testosterone like this and sucked it (and the blood) back into the syringe it looked like alot when it was on my skin but in the syringe it was not even measurable.

It happens every once in awhile. I've had one so far. Blood ran right down my butt cheek. Like Chuck said, you probably went through a vein. The T should be in the muscle so if any got out it was a tiny bit. My gf does the Z track technique when giving me a shot so none ever comes back out. You could try that next time to prevent it if you're worried about it.

Thanks! I will try the z track method next week. I couldn't tell if any t came out cause the blood literally gushed out (stained sheets, fml) but yeah I figure the t is too thick to come out like that. Anyway, will see what happens next week.
