Ok so Iv always been into jock type cis guys. But I find jock type transmen to be really hot. Never been with one but would not say no ether if I met one. I have heared and watched a doc about trans people and a trans couple mtf and ftm got married. They were such an awesome couple. The mtf has her bottom surgery but the ftm not sure if he did but made me think finding that one person still can happen.
Do mtf and ftm couples happen more so then not?. Just wondering?.
There were a couple threads about the topic of trans + trans couples and the general consensus was that if there was a connection, then they'd give it a shot.

And there is one trans guy who I find attractive, but he lives pretty far away so it's not gonna happen. :P plus he doesn't know I exist hahahaha!
I'm attracted to men and would be open to a relationship with a transman. While I wouldn't actively seek one out, I wouldn't be opposed to it if I met the right guy. I've known trans couples that exist and some seem happy. I can't say it happens frequently, but it's possible. However, I have also ran into trans people that would never date another trans person. I know transmen that desire their female partner be post-op. Also, I know transwomen who wouldn't date a transman because of their genitalia. I think this is actually quite common based on what I've heard others say.
Lastly, while jock guys are attractive physically, I doubt I could ever date one. I've been bullied and beaten up by too many of those guys to ever feel secure dating one. I guess it depends on the individual and whether they are like the jerk jocks I knew in the past. Sorry for the tangent :)

I think its easy to connect with other trans people because of what were going through. I at one point has a small relation with a post-op girl it was short lived because I was more into men and she was more into cis women. But non the less it was an experince. And I know my hormones played a part in that.

It doesn't matter where you are in your transition or what you have had or haven't had done, you're still someone capable of love and enriching someone's life with who you are inside.

I would not be against it because they understand what it is like to be trans. That and I am bi so I like both pieces of equipment all the same ;)
I'm dating a transwoman and I know at least one other person who is too. We're more going out and that sort of thing at this point. We definitely have a certain understanding of each other that we might not have if one of us was not trans. I am very early in my transition and she is a bit further along than I am, so when we first started dating I didn't really look like a guy. So I am not sure we will have issues or not as I am further in my transition.
With sex, you know if there is a will there's a way. People are very creative! But there might be a basic attraction thing going on so that someone might not be attracted to someone with the "wrong" equipment. BTW, in the TMI dept. testosterone changes transguys more than just body hair, let's just say.

I'm open about dating an Ftm, I wouldn't say no there are definitely some hot guys about.
I've gotta agree, I find these women a lot more attractive than some of the cis women that I know :-P
A lot of the guys here are also attractive, if I don't say so myself. I think that transsexual couples work out better than your average cis gendered couples, just because you understand each other better: The internal struggles, what your significant other longs for. There's a deeper connection, I guess.
I would be totally open dating an MtF as well, or even an FtM as I'm sort-of bisexual (say... Kinsey 2) (it's a bit complicated, actually, I'm attracted to both genders physically and emotionally, but would never-ever want to have sex with a man in the 'normal' man-way. If that makes any sense)
I mainly want a partner that fits with me -mentally- and it would of course be nice if she/he was attractive as well, but it's not a must or a breaking-point. And I'd rather have an ugly wife who is 'on the same wavelength' as I do, than a hot chick who isn't.
But I agree yea, I think two transpeople will understand the difficulties of being trans better than a cis-trans couple, and will probably even have a deeper connection than most cis couples.

There is a fantastic life size sculpture of Buck (naked of course :laugh:) in the Adelaide Art Gallery. He is a very impressive man, and it is an incredible piece of art.
Buck Angel is definitely an impressive dude. I personally am not into men, but I can still appreciate Buck's epicness.

Being an "older guy", I have an appreciation for things like a sense of humor. My girl friend is just about the funniest person I know. To me, that is very attractive! :) I agree on the understanding of difficulties thing. When I am having a hard time re: being misgendered she always has some story for me or something. I can also hear her talk about various troubles with parts due to her SRS and I understand a lot more than a cisguy would ever understand.
Haha think Buck Angel is fantastic. He also does all these "public service announcements". They are really great, if you haven't watched any on youtube.
