Title: mind set
Post by: Riley Skye on May 31, 2013, 11:42:03 PM
So after my therapy appointment this week, which was very triggering, I have come to the realization that I have to both think and not think about my transition. I have just simply live my every day life as I have always done without worrying. I am honestly now trying even though it has only been a few days. Also I have to be conscious of where I am in transition. Honestly I feel like I'm starting to get in a better mind set not being so focused on the changes and worrying of the future. Instead of thinking when can this be over I will for now on cherish each moment :)

Congrats! Your at a awesome stage in your mind. don't lose these thoughts. its a key strength building in transition. remember each moment of transition is helping us build us tomorrow. cherish the first moments as scary as they are. Looking back at past fears, or worries builds strength for the next step. KEEP IT ROLLIN GIRL! :)

It's cliché to say this, but positivity really does make things better.  The more confident and hopeful you are, the better things tend to turn out.  Also, living for each day is a good idea.  While it's smart to make plans for your future, it's foolish to ignore today and not see the good already surrounding you.  Congrats.  It's a good state of mind to be in.
