After a revisal of the dress code for Arriva, train drivers are not allowed to wear shorts in the summer. As a result, the male drivers decided to wear skirts instead of trousers on hot days, and the company decided to say it was fine.
". . . If the man only wants [to wear] a skirt then that is OK," Arriva communications manager Tomas Hedenius told the paper. "To tell them to do something else would be discrimination."
