SO's birthday is coming up and I was asked to buy the very first dress. So far we've been sharing my clothes, which are all too big. This is going to be his very first dress, to suit his style as H, that hopefully fits well.

Now if only I could find a good cheap pair of shoes we'd have a full outfit. :)

Don't want to sound mean, but why do you call your wife a he. She's MTF, right?
Right now, we still use the male pronouns until further along in transition. That is his preference, as I mentioned in my first post. I know it's going to be a little confusing until the point where that changes. I think he's worried about "slip ups" outside of the home, but I try to remain consistent until I'm told otherwise. I don't know when that will be but I have a feeling it'll be once HRT begins which hopefully is soon *fingers crossed*
I think it's beautiful.
If I may suggest for shoes, the dress is reserved so shoes which compliment that. Something black, perhaps rounded toes, medium heel, plain.

I found a pair of shoes that match your description almost perfectly except they are flats. Great minds think alike! But with a $65 price tag unfortunately I must keep looking.
Try Payless. You might find something nice closer to $20.

Robyn, You are brilliant. I always forget about payless. I found a great pair for a MUCH more reasonable price. It's gonna be a great birthday this year!
Thank you!
