I don't know if we're allowed to post T levels. I know dose info is not allowed. I just had my levels checked. My levels are in the 860's and I was wondering if it was too high? My endo said it was in the normal male range, but I was wondering if it was in the higher male range and if it is in danger of being converted into E. Do I have anything to be concerned about?
You'll be fine. That is on the higher end of the acceptable range. The actual number doesn't really mean much of anything. Is your liver good? Kidneys? Is your transition moving at the pace you like? RBC, cholesterol, and blood pressure all good? If you're not having any health problems, and you feel good then the dose is working, congrats!
Thanks. I'm glad that it's normal. My cholesterol is a little high, but thats about it. I just need to work out more and eat better.
When I wanted to know if my T level was OK I found this article from the art of manliness useful, it explains about T levels and which values are average and explains about reference range. etc.

My T level is 835 .... my doc is fine with it. I think the range is up to 950 ... it's on the higher end of T levels but my doctor is trying get changes to happen -- I have been on T for a year and half and have had little changes so my doc is running me high hoping to get the changes.

I have one other question. I inject SubQ and when I inject it stings. Now, I know I'm not getting into any veins or anything because there is no blood or anything. Anyone know why or have experienced the same thing?
I've never injected my T SubQ but I did spend months doing daily SubQ Lovenox (blood thinner) shots after a kidney surgery. I did them in my sides and stomach. I called them "yellow jackets" because they stung like bee stings. Lovenox is thinner than T so just the thought of injecting T that way makes me cringe.
Have you always done SubQ T shots? I've yet to try my deltoids because I'm afraid to hit a vein there but out of everywhere I've tried IM my thighs hurt the least.
