Title: Epilating and body hair loss
Post by: sam79 on June 23, 2013, 01:31:11 AM
Perhaps someone knows the answer to this... I know that annoying vellus hairs through epilating or plucking can cause some of them to come back stronger and thicker hair. Does anyone know how this works with hair on arms and legs relating to HRT? I've read that hair on arms and legs can reduce to vellus hair with HRT. Would the same rules apply to it with epilating? More to the point, would my consistent epilitating actually cause hair to persist?

From what I know...the reason why your hair grows back thinner after you epilate is due to the way hair grows. Hair grows in stages, from thin to thick; ingrown hairs skip the first couple stages and grow in dark.

Consistent epilating shouldn't make your hair keep growing in...in fact if you're on hrt it would make your hair turn vellus faster because you're ripping out a mature hair and replacing it with a thin first stage hair.

I could be wrong though.

It's because your damaging the root when ripped out
Mainly the blood vessel....thins the supply over years.
And not all vellois hair turns heavier....you could also laser them hard..

But vellois == ubet sexy...
Figured that out when some men st work talked about
Looking st a girl's thighs in the sun...st the right angle .
And you see the tiny baby hairs...glistening in the sun
I swear to god I thought one of them was going to pop....

I am goinf to try ans bring all my body down to vellous if I can
By laser....
