So I went to check it out, and I saw that she had just signed it. This is what she had written:
"I have a transgendered family member who has suffered ridicule, fear and even violence simply because of what she is. No one should have to endure this sort of persecution and NO ONE should have the freedom to hurt another because someone is different. Please support this legislation to protect ALL of our citizens."
She called me a "she." I just started crying.
She loves you. How wonderful.

I don't expect other people to know what our lives are really like or to understand all we go through, but when I see those people show compassion and caring for us and those like us, it just warms my heart.
Lisbeth, you're a very lucky woman.

I haven't believed that in a long time (years). And then today she persists in introducing me to people as "Bob." *Lisbeth repeatedly bangs head against wall*
