Title: born with small cheast muscle.
Post by: Natkat on June 27, 2013, 05:22:48 PM
So I had my top surgery over a year ago key-hole all dirrect, and if you have complications of any kinds then you can get a reconstrution if its less than 2 years without having to pay an awfull amount of money in the clinnic in germany I went to.
-
I wondered if I needed a extra sugery? I been having problem that my upper cheast been bigger and more swollen than my lower part where I got my nippels, right after the surgery I was told it was normal swolloring + hematoma and it would go away after some time.
I did check up on a doctor and yes my hematoma was gone and the swolloing got better, Yet 1 and a half year after I still feel its not went away complitely.
Early in the procces I talked to diffrent people, my doctor said I needed to train because my lower mucles wasnt trained good enough so I made trainings programs to focus on the lower muscle cause I thought maybe it was broken due to hard binding in my past. but it didnt work.

Some other transguys told me I might need some extra surgery so I went to a doctor in my country wich is the only doctor in the country who I have faith in. He have done a few surgery on trans men but not many since it have become kinda illigal in my country.

I payed for a talk because he would probably be the only one I could talk to. He said something pretty unexpected.
That acording to him my cheast is healthy but I am born with some kind of smaller cheast mucles than most guys.
It would not had been noticeable back when I had boobs but now after I got the surgery it became noticeable that  my mucle dosnt go all down to my nipple like it dose on most people.

He also said all the work I put into training for making it better just made it worse and the only thing I could do would be to stop training my cheast at all and gain as little mussle in it as posible.

Its very unexpected and chocking news because even when I do not train that much I enjoy training and I want to train my cheast, stomack arms and shoulders but its almost imposible to do without training your cheast. I like being fit, I and sadly I have awfull wide hips and I want to train my upperbody to make my hips seams smaller and get abit more arm mucles.

It makes me depressing to think of not being able to train or at least not being able to train normally or choose between having a strange looking cheast or no arm mucles at all.
--
Now I am not sure what to do, I said I would go get some training advice for some experts to hear if there options for me to train ex my arms without training my cheast, but I have already tried to limit it to the lower cheast and its hard!,
I will also try to me massage the areas. I heard maybe I could get the mucles less tense and getting it longer but im not sure if it would work.

I am abit depressed by the thought there there wont be any solution for me, My doctor said I should maybe just accept it, but I still dont feel I want to without giving a try. so currently I take a break from all training who could infect my cheast, I thouhgt maybe if the mucle gets to fat I could get it removed as fat but its not sure it will, and from the nature side I am not a person who easly gain weight.

So... yeah Im not sure what to do, I could travel to germany for the doctor I gone to who had more experience and ask him for advice but it might be kinda expensive and I might get the same answer.

Have anyone any advice or know anything about this?

i had peri and from my understanding, we have the same problem. Correct me if i'm wrong but it sounds like your nipples go lower than your pecs, making your chest look odd? Mine does that and I've bulked up my pecs and while it seemed like that might be a bad idea and make my chest look worse, it didn't. It tightened up my skin and made it look a lot better. I still have kind of low nipples and if I cant fix it with more weight training, i'll get a revision. Maybe working out your chest isnt a bad idea. Just my thoughts.

yes my nippels are on the pecs area for a normal person, but because I should be born with a smaller pecs then there seams right underneath.

I am abit afraid to do weight training since I already pretty much done for a long period and my upper cheast mucle is bigger than usunal and now I been told it only would get worse because my mucles would get bigger and the diffrence would be more clear.

I been told theres nothing to do with it but I still want to try talk about it cause I dont think he have made a key hole surgery before and maybe its diffrent then?

It does still sound like working out your chest might help, although I wouldn't say for certain. I just wanna throw in that I've seen a few cis men with big pecs and low nips like you describe. Without seeing pics I can't judge but maybe it's not too terribly uncommon and you shouldn't be beating yourself up over it.
