Title: Anyone in the UK ordered from loveboat? Getting worried...
Post by: AdamMLP on July 10, 2013, 06:10:52 PM
Some of you might remember that I posted on here about a month ago asking for info on lesloveboat.  I decided that it was safest to get it posted to a friends house the other end of the country which is an added complication, but there's no sign of it so far.

From what I've been able to piece together:

8th June - order placed
11th June - parcel taken to post office
13th June - parcel leaves Taipei (assuming that flight number JL0802 hasn't changed it was heading for Tokyo)

After that I have no idea, because I only went for the standard shipping, which doesn't really have tracking, all I know is that it hasn't been signed for yet.  Is this normal for loveboat items to take this long to clear customs (I'm hoping that's where it's stuck)?  Or have anyone's binders failed to materialise from loveboat, I'd have thought I'd have seen some sort of warning if they had.

I am from the uk and have ordered from them before. It took longer than I expected (around 2.5 weeks) but not as long as you've waited. I'd email them if I were you to try and clear this up though!

I'm not in the UK, but it can take awhile. Shipping to the US is a bit easier as it can easily go thru California.

I just thought I'd update this so I don't worry anyone else, it turns out that I gave them the wrong address, which is why it never turned up at my friends house.  I'm going to blame my keyboard as to why I got it sent to number 3 instead of number 13.  Fortunately it was never signed for, so according to the information on their website Royal Mail are going to send it back to loveboat, and we'll see what happens from there.

I'm glad you figured out what's up and I hope they can get it re-sent to your friend's house!
