Hey guys, im so close to getting an 2nd refurrel for the top surgry, but im stuck between to two surgen i have been told i can go for either Yelland which i know who is very popula......or kneeshaw i know a few who went for him but i have no information or any pics of his work.
I have only seen yelland double incision works but not seen any of his keyhole ones, if anyone has used any of the dr i have meation please do tell me how it went and any pics of the keyhole would be great! Im not sure what size chest i am but most people say im small so i have no idea what one im going for. (would like the keyhole but it probly up to the dr)
I had the option of Yelland and Kneeshaw (pretty sure it was him anyways), originally I was going to go with Kneeshaw because I'd heard he offered peri to people with larger chests however the only work of his I could find was on people who weighed quite a bit more then I do. I never found any photos of his work on a person more my size so I was worried about that.
My friend went with Yelland (he had Double incision) and upon seeing the result of that I decided to go with him and just have the DI as well because at least I knew there was a very good chance it would turn out good and it has.
Likewise though I've never seen any of Yelland work for anything other then double incision but I can at least recommend him for that
Thanks for the replay jam, are you really happy how yelland done his work? how do you cope with the scar, as i am sort of worryed and picky about it. :-\
No problem, yeah I'm really happy, it's nice and flat and has good symmetry. The scars are something I worried about too, but I've really gotten used to them. Mine are still red/pink in appearance and raised but I've been 4 or 5 times to a public swimming pool and no one has ever given me any grief or even looked at me weird. Infact I'm more concerned about going topless because of my hips then my chest.
Of course I do have a little discomfort about taking my top off in front of people because of them but other then swimming by the time I can do that because of the sun it will have been at least a year since my operation, im hopeful the scars will have faded a lot by then. Either way I more then likely will be getting a tattoo to cover that area.
How obvious your scaring is besides counting on how much you move post op also depends on your skin itself. My friend was told by Yelland his skin was good for scarring and he was right. My friends scars are really faded now, you can't see them from a distance and its been that way since about 6 months post op.
