Title: First Women's Swimsuit Ever!
Post by: Ms Bev on June 11, 2007, 11:54:08 PM

Today, Marcy and I stopped at a couple women's clothing stores and a department store and bought a few things to share.  Among those purchases, which is not to share, is my first-ever woman's swimsuit.  I expected Marcy to help me pick out some old Aunt Bea swimsuit.....
but no.  We picked one that was a one-piece, with a skirt that starts just above the navel.  Cute!  It has a behind the neck strap, and has a pretty gradient of color starting at the top in teal, and then in darker shades of blue, to the skirt, which is almost totally violet (or purple).  A subtle shiny gold thread winds around the colors.

I hesitated a long time before trying in on (at home), not knowing what to expect.  Then I tried it, and looked.......I looked pretty good, after all!  A little thick in the middle, but that will go.  I called Marcy in to see it, and she took a while to come into the room, also not knowing what to expect,  She came in the room, and took in the full effect, from a distance.  She smiled, and told me she was afraid to look, but said she shouldn't have been afraid, that it actually looked very nice.  She said she felt very good about going to the pool or ocean with me in it.

I bent over, and asked if she could see my nipples.  "No", she said, "But all I care about is how easy it is to get you out of it back in the hotel room!

Woo hoo!

Happy Bev

How cute it sounds adorable do you have any pictures of it? I remember my first one piece then a bikini I felt naked both times but I have gotten used to it now.

Congrats !!   :)

I wore a bikini when I was just 4 months into HRT and in retrospect still had a malish look (but I had more than A cups already), mine was very very skimpy and I felt like I was parading nude.

Good thing it was a hot late september day and the beach was not crowded.

Now, I've got the body, the face and the attitude to assume a bikini without any self-consciousness (yay).

Keira,

Errrrm ....  ::)

Would have thought that there might have been a kind of "bulge" to hide in a really skimpy outfit  :)  ?  How did you cope ?

I thought I wasn't nearly curvy enough to look remotely good in a swimsuit, but just a few weeks ago mum lent me one of her old ones as we were going to Prague for a few days and the hotel boasted a sauna ....

It was a "high leg" one piece in a cool print, not at all frumpy, and did it flatter me (!) ... just not nearly tight enough (mum is two sizes bigger than my UK 10-12, US 8-10).

Never used the sauna in the end as I dreaded what it would do to my hair ... but I'm now looking forwards to buying my own very first swimsuit as Laura ... it wont be a bikini, but a compromise one piece, cut-away and as skimpy as I can get away with !

Bev ... hope we will get to see some holiday pics !

If you've got the bod for it. Why not a bikini?
They're not all super skimpy you know.
I have a normal one I wear with a Tankini.

Mine I wore last year was ridicously skimpy. Only brasilian women wear skimpier one.
I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I bought it then.
Now, it wouldn't look so bad.

I am an expert tucker  :D (I'll put that on my resume), in this case I used a thight thong with lots of lycra under the bikini and some surgical tape. The biggest problem is sweat since I couldn't tape as well as I wanted because of the skimpynes, it makes everything so slippery.

I could maybe use pantyhose control tops, they usually have a bit more hold in sweaty situations, but this thing was so skimpy, I wasn't really sure how to cut it to fit. I know it fits in bigger bathing suits.

It must be a great feeling getting your first womens swimsuit! my laser specialist wants to zap my whole body with elight to get me into a bikini for summer. he said theres no point doing things in halfs. now I just have to find the money to pay for it! I like one pieces too!

The bulge can quite easily be completely hidden in a bikini. In summer I sun bath a lot (only in the backyard at my age) with a skimpy bikini to get the most tan possible. Still more than one neighbor has stopped over and caught me. They were surprised thinking I had finally had SRS.

If anyone is interested in the technique, rather than take the thread off topic shoot me an email: SandysMail@charter.net. It is also posted somewhere here, but I've improved on it since.
