Just a heads up for everyone, Laura Jane Grace has made an acoustic EP that is up for free on the against me website that has a couple songs from the upcoming, "Transgender Dysphoria Blues" album. Even if you're not into punk, the acoustic versions are pretty light, so go try them!
I was going to go to one of her shows on her upcoming solo tour, but unfortunately I'm now unable too. :( I've been listening to Against Me! for years... What's your favorite album? And what did you think of the True Trans EP? :D
There's not an album of theirs I don't like but I listen to reinventing axl rose and eternal cowboy the most. I definitely like the EP, but it's hard to get a feel for what the songs are going to be like on the full album. A lot of their songs kind of have a different feel when she performs them solo acoustic.
I agree. Eternal Cowboy was my first album I bought by them, but I think the Crime EP may actually be the most listened to album for me. But just so you know, there's some footage of them playing True Trans Soul Rebel live with the full band. Youtube search "against me dour fest full" and there's a full, high quality concert with True Trans and a few other songs from the new album. Pretty sweet stuff :D
