Title: Hate being a guy but other times.
Post by: Larisa on July 21, 2013, 10:14:49 PM
Okay so when am dressed up as a girl, when I have to be a boy again I hate having to go from girl back to guy clothes. Like I feel so comfortable and myself as a girl. I look down as a guy and see no boobs and facial hair and annoys me. Other times its opposite and I don't want boobs and like being a guy. Are these typical feelings?

As all people are different, so are the feelings and reactions of all people. Your feeling of being OK sometimes and not at others is perfectly normal.

Happens to me all the time. I also get bad depression during it all and that makes me want to rush because of the anxiety, then a day later I'm thinking "Pheww. Glad I didn't do that". And then a few hours later I'm wondering why I'm stagnated. Take the time to figure things out, namely WHY you go back and forth.

That guy in one of the Matrix movies was dead on. Knowing "why" is having power. Knowing why this is happening for you specifically, will help you figure out the path you need to take.  I use journaling to figure out what causes these fluctuations and as long as they're not too graphic, I post those thoughts on the forums too. I know my why for going back to male mode. I don't know my why for going to girl mode. I've examined everything and I do mean everything like fantasy lives, sexual desire, over-analyzing (and over-analyzing my over-analyzing), comfort zone, being liked, afraid to be gay (actually I think I'm bi), etc.

There is an easy solution if you hate going back to guy mode: Don't. Start wearing women's clothes 24/7. It doesn't have to be a dress or skirt or whatver. Maybe just wearing women's clothes, even if no one else knows they are, might help.

Do you want to transition or do you think you just crossdressing is your thing?

Some people are one gender and some the other, but there is no rule you have to be one OR the other.

There are middle people that can deal with being both as they see fit.

I suppose being a middle person is more difficult on the people around you though. I am a trnaswoman and have no desire to be seen as male at all ever. So getting people to realize it is a one way journey for me. I just need to get them to stop treating me as male. You on the other hand, well some days you will seem one and some days the other. So it is fair to say, the people around you will be a bit blameless if they get the wrong choice occasionally.

That's the only real problem with being in the middle I suppose.
