For the first time in maybe 7-8 months, T oozed out of my leg after I injected. I started panicking because it wouldn't stop, meaning that I wouldn't know how much came out for me to replace with a second injection >.< Does this ever happen to you? Do you think it could've been that I didn't put the needle all the way in my leg? I did it 3/4 of the way in. Ugh. First fail in a while.
And, what to do if it happens again? How do I approximate how much more to put in? I'm on weekly shots so it's not as bad as it'd be if it was once in two weeks.
Don't put more in if it happens. What I do with my shots is have one hand ready to apply pressure right after pulling the needle out. I think this helps prevent the oil from coming out.

Do you think that only a trivial amount escapes and not like half of it?
I've had that happen quite a few times. Only a small amount comes out. I am on twice a month shots and even losing that little has made no difference. Don't panic.

Also, if you're that worried about it try the Z tack method.
Next time sink it and plunge slow (at least 20-30 seconds).
When I do quads I always get a bead of blood with some T in it... but yeah, having it weep or ooze down your leg is not normal. You probably didn't get it into deep muscle tissue which is where you want it to be. Or, you injected it too fast for your tissues to accommodate. It is also possible that it might not have been T at all... perhaps you punctured a lymph vessel. In any case, just sink and plunge slow.

I wouldn't dose again, I would just ride it out until the next dose.

Do you pull the needle out straight after injecting? I leave mine in for 30+ seconds and then remove it fast and apply direct (no rubbing) pressure for a minute. Nothing comes out, not even blood after that. I don't even use bandaids.
Another conservation technique, leave a small air bubble at the top of the syringe, at the plunger, and that will push the T further into your muscle (makes a farting noise that lets you know you're done). And still keep needle in for at least half a minute after that to allow the T to move away from the injection site before you yank it out. Don't worry about air bubbles; they're safe! They're only dangerous when injected into veins.
Never had it happen (yet)...knock on wood. Then again I use an 1.5 inch needle and push it all the way in so that doesn't occur.
As others have said, don't inject more because you have no idea of how much came out.
