Hello everyone, my name is Kristen and I'm MtF. I've been lurking here for a while and think its time to introduce myself.
I've had transgender feelings for as long as I can remember but I didn't realize I could do anything about it until recently. Since then I've come out to my close friends and family with good results, although I'm still concerned about some of my relationships. I've joined looking for transgender folks to socialize and trade advice with as well as befriend. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
I'm also a complete radio and computer nerd and I love animals and nature. But not creepy insects. seriously. ewwww. Are there any other hams out there?

My heart skipped a beat when i read your name, i know someone called Kristen :D
It's exquisite to hear your close friends and family have reacted well. I am sure you need not worry about your relationships; some might even be stronger now.
You definitely have come to the right place for advice and to socialize.
I am not too sure i am a computer nerd. I don't know advance stuff, like coding, though i am on my laptop a lot. Who doesn't love music, animals, nature? I even like insects, but from time to time they will catch me off guard, and i will squeal :D
Welcome :]

Welcome Kristen! :)
I'm a bit of a computer nerd myself, maybe not as much as some people but definitely more than most. My OS of choice is Linux, that's gotta count for something, right? :icon_mrgreen:
Amy
Thank you all for your warm welcomes! I am looking forward to being more involved and to become a visible member of Susan's.
Amy, I think as long as its not Windows or Mac OS it should count. What distribution do you use? I'm a Gentoo user.
I really like Linux Mint, though I'm a gamer so I generally use Windows. :icon_blah:
I hate having to use Windows but whenever I use Wine or Virtual Box, a lot games run so slow or not at all, stupid Microsoft/Apple controlling the pc market. >:(
Amy
I know what you mean. I have windows on my computers for a few games but once A Machine for Pigs and Planetary Annihilation I might not dual boot anymore. I just found out that Bastion is available on Linux through steam. BBL :p
Yo Kristen! Wassup?
Don't like insects?? Then stay away from this blog entry of mine ...
Things that give me the creeps (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,126316.0.html)
Fair warming :o And welcome!

OMG ... I don't want to live on this planet anymore :(
I think many of us have an aversion to bugs! >:-)
Hi Kristen, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 6831. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)
