I'm not sure what to go with for a middle name going forward and I would like some suggestions! Here are some of the names I've thought of and rejected:
- Michele. My legal middle name is my Dad' first name. Michele is my mom's first name, but with everything going on I don't feel comfortable naming myself after her.
- Nicole. I found Anna on a baby name popularity list when looking up e ranking of my male name. I did the same thing with my middle name and quickly decided against naming myself "Anna Nicole"
- Rose. One of my friends keeps trying to push Rose on me. I don't mind the name, but my cousin has it for her middle name already, and I feel a little awkward about using it.
Any ideas? I'm planning to keep asking real-life people, too...

Rose strikes me as a little old fashioned, but goes nicely with Anna.
Anna Nicole *snicker*
Anna Michele has a very nice cadence to it. I like that one!
Maddy
Well, if this was first grade, I'd say Anna Banana, but I'm too mature for that.
<shaking, trembling, turning red, she's gone plaid!> Ahh, I can't take it! Anna Banana! I know, I'm juvenile. Sorry! Hugs, Devlyn
Anna Marie?
You should consider continuing the palindrome theme with your middle name.
Elle?
Emme?
Ava?
Aylya?
Izzi?
Anna Joanna, Anna Maria, Anna Diana. Ok I'll stop listing names that rhyme with Anna, although I do like those names haha. Umm Anna Jessica, Anna Elizabeth, Anna Melissa, Anna Rachael, Anna Stephanie, Anna Adele, Anna May, Anna Juliet. That's all I got for now lol.
I also like Anna Louise :D
Anna Raquelle?

I was making a post to say that one when I saw yours. It is a good name.
Hmm.... I am terrible with names. I can't even choose a first name for myself. I have gone through so many names and have just stuck with using my unisex play name that everyone has always called me by,lol. Hopefully, that will change.
I like Anna Marie for some reason. It just seems to flow. I don't know.
I also like Anna Marie. :)
Perhaps also maybe, Anna Grace, Anna Elise. . . I also like Anna Banana ;)
Anna Louise has a nice ring to it.
Anna Fay?
Anna Margot?
Anna Denise?
Anna Betsy?
Margot is pretty, but I can't help misreading it as Maggot.

Anna Denise sounds nice as well. Anna Fay rolls off the tongue well, but it reminds me of Tina Fey. Though, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Anna Roseannadanna just rolls off the tongue.
Anna Montana?
But seriously, I like Anna Michele but understand your hesitation as I've read of your situation with your mother. Anna Marie would be my second choice.
I'm not sure I can help you Anna I picked my first name when I was 5 and I just finally this year decided on a middle name I like well enough to stick with. So yeah I don't think you want my help unless you want to be retired before you pick a middle name.
I like Anna May or Anna Marie (agreeing with another post). I personally stayed away from names that other family members already had (but that's just me). Good luck.

+1 Anna Fay(e).
Lots of good choices! Keep them coming :)
Sticking to the palindrome theme could be interesting, but I'm not going to make it a requirement. I also thought of "Marie" on my own (before checking in and reading everybody's posts), so I'm going to consider that one more.
Do you know if your middle name has a nice female form?
(Ex. Scott to Scotia)
James -> Jamie?
I'm sorry I didn't have a good one earlier, so far I like Louise and Marie. Hugs, Devlyn

"Banana" made me laugh, so no need to apologize :)

Hmm... I could see that not working so well. :(
Marie and Louise, again, sound like the best so far.
Other ideas:
My sister's name is Anna Christine
Anna Jane?
Anna Theresa?
Anna Celeste?
Is "Konda" a name? Cause if it is you could be Anna Konda :) (I actually met an Anakonda once. I thought it was an awesome name but the girl seemed a bit embarrassed by it)
What ever middle name you pick, just make sure it doesn't turn into a tongue twister in combination with your first name, like for instance Lorraine Jeraldine or Tammy Tina (sometimes I think people are torn between two names and they pick both as a compromise). For years I waffled back and forth on a number of different names that I thought were ultra-feminine or hot or whatever, but I couldn't come up with a anything that didn't feel artificial or otherwise contrived. In the end I just picked what was closest to my former name without thinking much about it. That way it feels more like I have a birth name my parents gave me.

Ha! I didn't think of "Konda", but I did think of "Molly"!
Or how about Anna Mia? :eusa_dance:
Anna Mosity?

I love Molly! It's on my list of possible first names. Having said that, THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!! >:-)
Okay, I suppose there can be two. ;)

My thought process was: "Haha 'Anna Molly' sounds like 'Anomaly'"

Or really really slow :)
Okay, that's true,lol. :)
I still like it, but I think Anna Marie is the best choice here. I also like Zoe's suggestion with Anna Christine. Those two are very pretty sounding.
I too like the sound of Anna Christine, but I still think Anna Marie sounds the best to my ears.
I will say that it is hard to find a second name that flows well with Anna.
It is your name, choose what best fits you. Not what someone else thinks sounds best.
I don't think I can go with "Christine", I just remembered that that is my ex's middle name (and she cheated on me ... so ... yeah ...)
Could we use an "GmanAnra"?
For some fun, Google "anagram".
I like Anna Marie actually.
Anna Jacqueline, Annapurna (jk!), Anna May... I think the possibilities are endless with that name!
I opted to forgo any middle names My old name had like 3 middle names and they were all rubbish. (Stupid deadbeat dad) So I got rid of them partly just to see him slightly upset about it HA!
However I slightly regret that now.
When your thinking of a new name you have the fanciful ones which you kinda like but you can't pick because you suspect you'll end up disliking them. Or someone will guess clues about your past upon meeting you. "Aerial You choose that name didn't you?"
So I WISH I'd taken the serious first name I did (Alice) then picked a whimsical second name. Like Aerial, or Pebbles or River ect. So if It bugged me I could just not tell anyone but still have a cool sounding enigmatic secret name.

Anna Maria
I know some girl with that same and she looks somewhat similar to you, Anna! (I think she is written with a dash, though.)
I also like Anna Christine. And what about Mandy as middle name?
