Yes, eventually you're body will adjust to being on female hormones only and you won't suffer from that stuff. You go into like a male menopause, I used to even have night sweats like menopausal women do. It will pass.

Yes.  The mood swings caught me by surprise when I started on E and Spiro. I didn't expect to be driving down the highway and suddenly break out in tears after yelling at some ass for cutting me off.

It does suck, but as my therapist said after telling her about it "Hey, it's what women do. And it gonna happen."

Take care and don't let it get the best of you.  Get on the forum to vent and spill first.

Just about everything that is said in these forums are generalizations and don't fit everyone all the time.

Right now I'm going through a particularly annoying mood swing. I feel absolutely terrible about myself but the good thing is that they do pass and most of the time I'm happy.

Yeah, it happens.  I've always been emotional, but lately I feel like it has intensified.  The good part about it is the happy moodswings.  Right now, I feel wonderful and very hopeful about life.  Though, I know I can turn into angry mega bitch at the drop of the hat, lol.  Don't test me. >:-)

5 months into HRT, I'm all too familiar with mood swings.

They generally hit me every 3 to 4 weeks, and last 4 to 5 days, then I'm back to my normal happy self. But each time I took a dive, it got progressively worse, harder to get out of.

The one last weekend was bad enough to push me toward antidepressants to try and level this out :(.

I had mood swings in the beginning, I even suffered from morning sickness in the beginning.

Now after my injections, I do get very emotional for about a day for so.. by which I mean I cry very easily

Yes!! There are times when you go through the sad/moody emotional swings, but i also find like Ltl said that there are times when i find even the small things absolutely hysterical, to the point where i cry with  laughter. This doesn't always happen at the most convenient or appropriate times mind you lol but still fantastic all the same :))
