Hello!
After having been kindly asked to write an introduction by another user, I have realised that I haven't introduced myself properly yet although I have been registered for quite a while, so I'm very sorry for the delay. Here it goes ^^ :
I am a 20 years old FTM from Europe (and I've just moved to the UK). In terms of transitioning, I have been on hormones for almost a year (I think^^) and my ID should hopefully get changed soon (I'm still waiting for a reply), so my everyday administrative struggle should finally come to an end in about six months to a year (fingers crossed  ). I'm also battling with my insurance in order to be able to have chest surgery as soon as possible, probably in autumn next year. By then I will consider my transition to be over and I'll happily concentrate on other areas of my life^^.
I'm a vegan, coffeine-addicted student with a part-time job in an office, I really love languages, reading and writing, travelling (when possible), assassin's creed, sports and ice-skating (and swimming, although I gave up competitions three years ago to start transitioning :'( ).
So, I'm running out of relevant facts about myself...
I'm also very happy to have found this website as I think it is very enlightening and seems to be crowded with many lovely people :)
Should you have any further questions, let me know and I'll gladly answer them !
I wish you all a very nice evening !
Welcome Transguy! :)
I apologize for the delay in welcoming you. Though I have to say, I think it's more your fault than mine. :P
Amy

Hey there Transguy - how did you luck out with getting that name?!!!
Hey, dude. Roll on 2014 =D.
Assassin's Creed is a great game. I have yet to play the third, I probably will skip it and just play Black Flag. Pirates; awesome. I tried ice-skating but I couldn't get the hang of it. It was really embarrassing as I was the only one really struggling, ha.
So... I am curious to know what made you decide to come to the UK?
Thank you all very much for your warm replies :)
@Jamie D : I guess everybody assumed that name would already be taken and nobody even tried ? ^^ I am very happy with that name although it is very simple, but I'll try to honour having managed to get it^^
@SaveMeJeebus : yeah, 2014 should be a big year for me =D The third Assassin's Creed was really good too, but Black Flag is my favourite so far, I really recommend it (I love pirates too^^ and was getting a bit tired of the setting in Italy). Haha, with a little practice ice-skating is not so hard to learn :)
Bright red double-deck buses and good tea =D No, seriously it's been a dream of mine since I was a child, I've always loved the English language and literature, and this was the perfect opportunity for me studies-wise so I seized it. I also think people are really very nice and open-minded over here, it's amazing. And I like the British sense of humour^^

Black Flag is not even out yet :-X. I am just going to assume you meant it looks to be your favourite so far :P.
I would need a lot of practice. There was other new beginnings when I went and they were all getting the hang of it eventually T_T.
I will never understand why others obsess over about this place. I found people so much more friendly in the US. I was actually getting greeted walking down the street.

I play it on my computer, it's been out on Windows since december 2012 (at least where I lived at that time) :)
Well, you can't be good at everything I guess. The first time I went skiing I nearly hit a tree^^ and I just can't seem to pick it up...
I have never been to the US, but if I compare the UK to any of the German-speaking countries or Eastern countries in Europe, I really think there's a huge difference in people's mentalities. I also think you might not like it as much because you've always lived there ? which makes it less 'exotic' I suppose. *needs to visit the US one of these days....*
You know I am talking about Assassain's Creed IV: Black Flag, right? It is not out until November.
I am not good at anything though xD. Ha; nearly hitting a tree. My younger brother went into a lady, they both went down :D.
I would not know. Yeah, I guess as I live here I am getting "fed up", but I think having lived in Michigan where I got greeted walking down the street, well, that warrants for something. I reckon no matter where you go most people are similar.
