Title: Newbie from Indiana
Post by: inncdava on June 16, 2007, 06:42:10 PM
I am a 24 year old transgendered woman (in a painful transition to female) from Marion, Indiana (a community that is 60 miles NW of Indianapolis and 50 miles SW of Fort Wayne). I am a video blogger for The Indiana State News Center and Discussion (INNCD News), as well as having a home based gift shop named NO SIR GIFTS (soon to be The INNCD Store.) I have six pet children (plus three are deceased) and four pet grandchildren.

I have a web site specialized in my ongoing transition illustrated with (censored) photos of my transition (and preparing to update) and actually have a link to Susan's place. I had a very difficult upbringing from my birth until my mother's death (from liver and kidney failure caused by stress) and brother's suicide in 2002.

The world makes a special place for me since I officially began my transition on December 1, 2004 (by having my name changed) after nine years of debate with my family (realizing after the deaths of my mother, brother, and stepgrandfather.) However, my pet children and grandchildren make up most of the immediate family I have left and made me realize I am one of Indiana's transgender leader.

Hi,

I'm sorry about your family problems. It sounds like you have a good job, though. Being only 24, you have every possibility of regaining at least some of your family back, plus, you are very likely to build your own extended family. So I think you have some things going for you.

Welcome to Susan's.  People are very good here. You will find lots of information and make many friends.

Peace,

Rebecca

Well, I am back and went on hormones, but since I have been in three disputes, I had to place the transition on hold.

Hi Ava,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 1660 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.   :icon_hug:

Updates (as of Feb 2009):

INNCD News was canceled in November 2007 and is now produced somewhere else, resulting me to freelance anchor/reporter.

The M2F site is currently on hiatus due to cyberbullying on Encyclopedia Dramatica, it has been going on since August 2007. I have been negotiating with that site (http://aeverine.info/eddispute.html). Unfortunately there has been no progress, and tried to put the dispute to an end.

I have placed two more web sites online at NOSirGifts.com (http://nosirgifts.com) and INNewsCenter.net (http://innewscenter.net).

NO SIR GIFTS is the gift store and went online last year.

INNewsCenter is a television news discussion site that illustrates how television news is produced in Indiana. The site is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and has media in High Definition.

Update (December 2010)

A lot has changed since the last update

I had been through a very bad 2010.

It all started after someone I went to high school with was murdered in April 2010...

Just days after Lee DeWyse won American Idol, my wife of nine years (Angela) passed away on June 1, 2010. She was 31 and I was 27. Then I started my first full relationship with a 30 year old woman named Christy after I unexpectedly went out on a date two days after my wife passed--unusual for a newly widowed 27 year old. Some of my friends and fans developed some conspiracy theories that I may have been "unhappily single" after graduating high school. The relationship with Christy is ending on my 28th birthday (January 4, 2011) and have been on the hunt for a new girlfriend (and yes, I have a dating profile on Plenty of Fish.com) since I caught Christy cheating.

My web site has seen a significant increase from this time last year. I can be found at Aeverine.info.

And last but not least, I have announced that I am doing a documentary on my ongoing gender transition titled "THE BIG SWITCH TO AVA."

Unfortunately, I had to stop hormones, not because of the economy, but for a completely different reason. There are still some personal issues (from 15 years ago) I have to take care of before I can resume my transition.

One of those issues is to embarrassing for me to talk about on any website and it is having sex for the final time as a male. At that point, my transition will resume. Remember, I am still living full-time as a woman.
