I thought I should make a small report about my 3 months landmark (yeah, I know, I stole this idea from Kay, sorry), as a small point of reference for those 30+ would be transitioners.
So, I am 35 y.o., 5"9', 152 lbs, I take maximum dosage of Spiro and low dosage of E (I dunno if that is low, but I have heard people taking thrice as much as I do – 3 x more is probably maximum) + a small dose of progesterone on alternate days to see how that adds up – my endo has no idea how progesterone will help, so she is very skeptical and wary (I know there are people who take more on a regular daily basis)
• I am sweating much less now – I can actually cycle from home to work and not feel like I need to change my top now – well, sometimes I do, but most often I dont have if I dont wanna.
• Also hair and skin less oily – as a side note, my skin is more softer, but also tighter and I feel direct and strong sunlight much more stronger now... Moisturiser is my friend now! It heals slower too – unfortunately.
• Body hair regrowth is at a much slower rate, but I cant figure out exactly how much, because I am also taking Biotine, which speeds things up everywhere;
• Hair on my legs has thinned out too. I used to have some hair on my arms too – very insignificant amount – now, it is either gone completely or regrowth rate is so slow that I am not noticing anything at all.
• My muscles keep converting into fat, because my weight is the same as it was 1,5 months ago (152 lbs), but I look more chubby and softer around my middle, plus my strenght has dropped considerably (carrying 10 lbs for prolonged time can make my arms hurt now – while I used to be able to do 20 pull-ups and single-handedly lifted 80 lbs 10 times).
• My head hair is even softer than before and apparently it gets thicker as well. I did not have the MPB, but it looks like there is some growth, as my M pattern hairline stends to smoothen out a bit. Sometimes I catch myself playing with it.
• My nails are softer now.
• My libido is down dramatically – it is like, if I am not pushing it, then it is not going to happpen. No spontaneous erections, but there do happen some cases of morning erections.
• I am quite calm, even-tempered, and more law-abiding as before. I think twice when I am crossing a street and the light is red – what goes in my head is – those 10 secs are not going to matter, so why hurry? Before, I used to see that red-light as a personal challenge... The world seems more friendly and curious place to be, yet the issues of safety start to appear somewhere in the background. But when I become moody then its overhelming and sometimes my response is just not very reasonable :P.
• I drive much safer now too, and if someone is speeding, I just give him the way. I am much less competitive in matters where it does not really matter much, but my speach pattern has changed from ,,no nonsense/everybody else is moron" to ,,well, I know You are a moron, but please listen to me and lets try to be reasonble, constructive and at least try to find a compromise". When talking to other persons, I look into their eyes, searching for their body and gesture responses and I do wait until the spokesperson is done with her/his speach. I did not notice before how often guys just go on and interrupt other persons, but I am very aware of this now – to the point where I just state ,,please, let me finish, ok?". It just gets annoying, because they often wont let You finish a sentence and then rinse and repeat the same mode of behaviour.
• My body language has changed as well – everything, including my posture has become softer. I dunno if HRT is to be praised for that, or that is just subconscious, but I keep noticing that I sit down and cross my legs automatically. I am more active with my hands and head, when speaking too.
• I am a bit less organised, but if pushed – I stay focused better. Things, which did not matter much before – I can take them very seriously and emotionally. I am trying to stay away from the crime news section now.
• Bewbies – they are tender, soft and hurt as hell if I bump into something.
Awesome Emily. It sounds like you are having good progress. :)
The first thing estradiol effects is the brain - almost instantaneously.
Yes, I actually see my progress as being pretty standard one. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that my sexuality is now one big question mark, but thanks to my low libido, I can just brush it aside for the time being and think about it later :)

Absolutely!
Thanks for sharing Emily :)
Steal away. Sounds like we are both near the same progress poles. Keep on moving forward.
Hugs

Cheers :)
P.S. Your legs look smoother though ;)
Another observation...
Today I was changing my tops, looking into mirror and suddenly it appeared to my that my left upperarm has decreased a bit. I flexed my biceps and.... nothing happened - it is still tight inside but nothing raises and there was absolutely no increase in the circumference. The same was with my right arm.
