I've been struggling with my body image and saw these trans-women online. I knew one casually before her SRS. How on earth do they get curves  like this. Does the SRS cause you to develop like this?

They had to have BA and prolly hip augmentation as well. I don't know I don't find them all that attractive. In the face, yeah they are super pretty but I think that is a little extreme. I mean those boobs are so big!

I do think after you get SRS there could be a smidge more development as you got rid of the T. I'd be too busy having sex with my BF too notice anything though heheheheh I've actually been considering doing web cam work to finance my SRS. I have pretty nice boobs, not as big as these ladies, but nice enough to bring a guy to attention lol

Actually the top three are fine, if still seriously curvy, it's just the bottom one it seems a bit too much. There is no way that is natural.

I saw the bottom one years ago but and she did not have curves like that.

What is natural to you? Bodies come in all different shapes and sizes. I haven't to like the shape of those women.

There's nothing wrong with liking it. There's obviously an appeal to looking as femme as possible but...up to a point. (I def want to look as femme as I can as it will make me happy. it's the only thing I ever wanted.) I'm getting there though as I have 34 Cs and I am starting to have a very defined shape and you can totally see my waist. It's almost hourglass. I'm so happy about that. I just need a little more fat to deposit there but it's taking shape!

The second one is really pretty, IMO. I don't think she looks very natural and totally femme. The hips jut out a little sharply but that's prolly from that way she is sitting. Given the choice of looking like that or looking what I looked like pre-HRT, I would choose that a million times over. It wouldn't even be a choice. The top one and the third one aren't bad either but they start looking a little plasticized. The last one is just too extreme. I mean the boobs are like double GGs lol it's just too much for me. But if they're happy that makes me happy. I'm a femme trans girl and we gots to stick together.

Oh yeah I think the surgery is breast augmentation, obviously, but also I think they got the hips by silicone. it's way too dangerous and I think is illegal...or should be. I can't imagine a reputable  doctor would go to that extreme, mainly speaking of the last one. If you go for hip surgery, I would just try to emulate the second one. The others are just extreme and the boobs would get so heavy, you'd need back surgery.  There is a surgery to give you a badonkadonk and hips but I think it is expensive. There is a thread on here somewhere where a girl went to Mexico to hip and butt surgery done. it was very subtle and totally classy and really made her look more femme.

None of them look like they were ever male so that def appeals to me. I wouldn't go that far but the goal for me is to never be able to pass as male no matter what and if I told someone I was trans they wouldn't believe it.

Thats not looking as feminine as possible. When Your out in public you don't see women like that. The only place where you see women like that is porn. That's not looking feminine that is a gross caricature of femininity and is not what real women look like.

The last one is bad. But what is wrong with the second one? Or the first one. The second and third are just curvy. The first one doesn't look bad at all either. The last one might be"a gross caricature" but not the first threee. The third one's boobs are just too big. I really like you Heather but they are trans girls and for all we know they might come here. I see women like the second one a lot. Women come in all shapes and sizes. I don't see what everyone is talking about with the first three. I just think we all need to be a little more sensitive. How would you feel if people said this about you? They are human beings.

BTW, when I am out in public I see some women who couldn't care less about their appearance and not in a good way. Some are just so unhealthy and morbidly obese. It's one thing having overactive glands but it's another scarfing down 10 Whoppers and not caring. I'd rather look like the first three then be like that. In fact. the first one is really pretty and doesn't look remotely unnatural. Neither does the second. The other two, yeah, it's too much. The last one, way too much.

I'm a trans woman but you must realize I'm also a feminist. And I don't like the idea of a woman trying to fit into the stereotypical male fantasy. So when I hear comments like the one I quoted it bothers me. If those women chose to look that way fine. But don't hold it up as some standard of femininity because its not.

fair enough but what is wrong with the first one. Or the second one. How is that not feminine or some male fantasy. The first one looks fine. I'm really curious as to why you find the first one so revolting. How is a woman supposed to look. I mean if you're a feminist shouldn't a woman be able to control her own body without being called some version of a pervese male fanasy. I just don't see what you are talking about with the first two. I see women like this in public. Yes, they obviously posing to arouse males. What's wrong with that? They are prolly did to try to make money to finance their transtion. Honestly, it is really hard to get a job when trans and this is what some girls do.

I don't understand how people can say other people's bodies are disgusting, it's rude lol. And seeing how this thread is on a support forum for TG's that didn't get to transition young and don't look like their average cis counterpart, it all sounds like jealousy.

The topic asked how they got their bodies to be that way.
Not to shred on these women that look fantastic.
Just wasteful negativity, lol.

I think they are looking this way because their transition is already finished. But also another reason I don't like the fact that its over sexualizes trans women. So cis people see this and think were all in this because it's a choice and this is just about sex. So it makes it harder on the rest of us to be taken seriously. I'm not in this for sex or to be somebodys object I am a woman and I want to be taken seriously.

I think the pressure society puts on women to look like a certain unattainable ideal is kind of disgusting, but I also think women should be allowed to look and act however they please (for the most part) and shouldn't feel ashamed about it.

I support this position fully. The unfortunate truth is that for many, if not most people who do not have first hand knowledge of the subject, any  image they might have of trans women is heavily influenced by pictures such as those published here ie. of hyper sexualized woman, reinforced by the fact that there is a lot of trans involvement in the sex industry, at least here in France. To answer the OP's question, they get something like these sort of bodies, which BTW have almost certainly been photo-shopped, with BA surgery, silicone injections, butt implants,  removing lower ribs and lots of other cool stuff like that.

Regarding this subject , one of my employers biggest concerns when I came out was how I would dress for work. Based on the association "trans = sex industry", they had a real fear I would show up in over sexualized attire and weren't reassured on the subject until I showed them photos.

I laughed it off at the time as I dress in a very classic manner like just about any other woman my age but such images really don't make life any easier for those of us who are just trying to get on with life.

What is wrong with the first two women? Or for that the first three women? Discuss. Maybe the fourth one is a lil exteme but it is her body. I think all women are beautiful. BTW, I really don't think any trans woman has any obligation whatsoever do any other trans woman. It is their body. Why can't they control it? Myself, my body.

Also, not everyone is lucky to be able to get good jobs. Some trans woman, like myself, transition a lot younger and don't have the resources others have and have to turn to the sex industry. Some can't wait because their dysphoria is so severe they have to transition a lot younger then is the norm, which is 46, because if they don't they will die. Therefore, they can't get good jobs because of how society views trans woman. These women are trans women and they deserve our support not scorn, not ridicule. We do not know their life story. It is unfair to judge.

I really like you Donna (and generally really repsect your opinions. ALOT) but I have to disagree with you on this point. In any event, I LOVE FRANCE! You're so lucky to live there.

Joanna,
There was absolutely no scorn or ridicule in my reaction, just a reaction to a representation of trans women that I am personnally uncomfortable with. Actually, I would react in the same way to a cis woman who had her body "relooked" in such a manner so it's not just trans woman. I don't like over sexualized images of any women as I believe there is a lot more to women than that. Against that, I'm not going to get into a detailed discussion about how I feel about any of the photos in particular as I don't see any point to it.

Also, I understand why some people turn to the sex industry as one of the few ways they can make a living but if you pushed me on that, i don't believe at all it's the only reason. Even then, I actually have no issue with the sex industry which serves a purpose like many others. As long as people get into it freely and are not actually abused of, I see little intrinsic difference between selling your body and selling other services.

However, I am bothered, a bit, by the fact that so many people, here it at least, first association with the trans woman is the sex industry. I think you can understand that it is not helpful to those of us who have chosen other walks of life.
Hugs.

I think it's natural to be annoyed with something somebody does because you feel they are projecting an image on you and creating stigma that you have to deal with, I mean I can understand that impulse, but if you find yourself telling another adult how they should be because of how you feel their life reflects on you, it is a little selfish and controlling.  I guess I'm just saying there is a line there that people sometimes cross.  I'm not saying anybody has crossed it here or anything.

Plastic surgery is also very popular among women here in S. Korea. Although the U.S. tops in the number of plastic surgery, S. Korea tops in per capita.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2271134/15million-people-plastic-surgery-world-just-year--SOUTH-KOREA-leading-way.html

And, without makeup, most women look as plain as me. Once a Chinese newspaper posted photos of Miss Korea candidates:

(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fkorean.people.com.cn%2Fmediafile%2F201305%2F02%2FF201305021530577376700000.jpg&hash=1939b5009eeda3d2f2a3d115e27720b8b0886e11)

And http://postfiles13.naver.net/20130626_220/2ch1999_1372235427924Pz6rW_JPEG/hu_1372235278_742643261.jpeg?type=w1

They first suspected possible plastic surgery, but realized that the skill of makeup was so much dramatic. Those Ms. Beauties all look similar, because the makeup was based on the common criteria of contemporary beauty.

Most women wear makeup. Some women undergo plastic surgery. Essentially, no difference in cis-women and transwomen regarding producing artificial beauty or wearing makeup.

I started this tread to find out how they achieved their bodies not to have people bash a particular type of trans women. No one version is better than the other but what makes that person happy.

I think some of these comments are out of envy. Their bodies are not unusual for latino and hispanic women. I rather look like them than as a pre-adolescent girl with long hair.
