Was just wondering if anyone was like me in not wanting bigger than an A or AA cup size?? I'm excited to feminize and having a more female chest is part of that. I just want small breasts, and it's. so common to read frustration of MTF's breasts not developing fast enough or big enough and talks of implants.
So curious to see how many of you rather have small breasts and why. :)

interesting topic. I hope to end up with C cup breasts, but I will not get implants to obtain them; and if I get bigger than so be it.
I'd like to make it to a c-cup too, so that my breasts will be helpful in getting me gendered correctly.
But right now, I'm just thrilled to chemically be a woman and to enjoy the breasts I have.
As I am more concerned to what is under my clothes then what I present as, if I could avoid having to tell my family friends and cover changes under weight loss (I would be moving to a different city for many reasons)then I would want small breasts. I would want at least big enough to fill a bra and to feel the weight which from time to time seems to be a missing part of me but still small enough to hide easily.
If I have to tell my family and friends then there is nothing holding me back I would want to feminize as much as possible I would want my male persona to die. Larger breasts would also draw some attention from what ever tells I couldn't get rid of.
For me it was size ratio. Hrt in all aspects should get you 1 to 1 1/2 size below your closed family female size. I am on the tall side along with big boned (heavy upper body) and i got to a small B cup. My mom is a C. So i got close but it was not to body ratio and had breast implants to make a full C. So i would look at things in your body ratio. But again i know many who go to extremes. But that happens even with normal cis girls.

I'm generally pretty happy with my breast size. I am a 34 C. But I would like them to round out more but they seem to be doing that and I am getting a lot of weight in the bottom of my boobs. They're simply impossible to hide. I'm more concerned with shape then size. I could deal with A cups if they were perky and would want them more then C cups that are blah. Shape for me is really important.
I don't know though if you do the subtract four inches thing I would be -.5 as there is 3.5 inches difference between my band size 32.5 and my bust size, 36. But no one would say I am even close to flat chested lol

While I didn't really want breast this size I've actually grown to like them. I am afraid they will end up D's in the end but if they do I'll get used to it.
But I don't think your alone in not wanting big breast. But really you have no control over the size of your breast. ;)
Interesting, before HRT I was fine with implants and liked C or D cup sizes on other women. I thought I would have wanted the same when it came time for GCS. I thought it was more likely that I would get implants than not.
After a couple years on HRT, and watching an in-law of mine go through breast reduction surgery, I prefer a B cup. My mom is a B cup though and it's been a few years, I think I'm screwed, lol. I'm OK with an A cup but I'd prefer to have a B cup. In need of a diet change and an exercise plan, I seriously doubt I'm going to make a B cup.
I also am totally against implants for myself. I don't want to deal with having to getting them replaced for decades to come and then be left with saggy skin for the rest of my life when I decide to stop getting implants in my golden years.
I'm content enough where I am at. My reasoning for wanting smaller breasts is just not having to deal with "more." C cups look great on other women but I don't think I would want to carry them 24/7, myself. Haha.
Don't get me wrong though, I can appreciate breasts of any size and I'll be happy with a girlfriend no matter what size she is. Just speaking for myself, I've grown to prefer smaller ones to call my own. (no pun intended)

Exactly. Yes. I used to be very active and athletic. And now that I have all this free time in beautiful Seattle and I'm thinking it's time for me to back into an active lifestyle, I think having large breasts would just get in the way. Literally, at times. lol
I was on a hormonal supplement for a few months but due to cost I haven't had it in quite a while. I was completely flat chested before though and now I have what looks like decent looking pecs, but they're certainly not muscle lol. I fit into a 42A bra size but for someone my size A-cup is hardly noticable unless you feel them yourself. I'm thinking I want a size C-cup, and the supplements I was on target breast growth specifically and over time and given my body size that shouldn't be a problem. Do I want larger.....kinda. I'll have to see when I start getting there first. It'll be a few years until I can really let loose and go full board with feminizing my body completely, unless the military somehow in the next 5 years starts pushing for support of transexuals which given the rate that it's changing now I wouldn't be surprised lol. Would love it, but highly doubtful it would ever happen in my lifetime.
I wear forms for gender-bending, so it's not the same thing, but I wanted a modest yet clearly feminine chest. (Drag isn't exactly my style.)

My size (both on charts and in fact) is 34D.
For strange reasons I don't entirely understand, 85% of women wear the wrong bra size (http://www.oprah.com/style/Os-Bra-Intervention_1) - nearly always a loose band and small cups.
Put another way, cup sizes are smaller than they have a reputation for.
I'd guess many cis-men are A-B, large chests with a little bit of breast development. Something like 44A, a 10.23:10 ratio.
Just a suggestion but whatever size you end up with, take an open mind to a professional fitting. Even forms are uncomfortable in the wrong size (34C is a big NO for me. *shudder*). I can't imagine how much a poor fit would suck with actual breast tissue.

For the same reason I don't shave my for arms or wear blue sparkly eyeshadow or huge heels or have any interest in hoop earrings. I personally feel that there is such a thing as trying too hard, where one feature can distract from the whole.
On top of that (and this is just me) I feel rather gender-neutral inside and going too far presenting either way doesn't feel right.
It's hard to visualize what a given cup size would look like on a given chest size...myself, I would like breasts that are "a handful", maybe a titch more (no pun intended), so I'm looking at a large C-small D. Right now, they're a B, and just a bit smaller than a handful...but given my band size (46), although they can be observed while I am wearing clothes, they're not quite adequate in the statement I would like to make.
In other words, a "C" on me would look like a DD on a smaller-framed girl (assuming same volume). But, if I just get close to my desired size, I wouldn't get a BA. In fact, where I am now (considering I am still having growing going on), I'm just going to let Mother Nature take her course, and be happy with whatever shows up.

When I first started, I bought a padded bra and these little stick-on "add a cup size" things from Target and ended up able to see what I'd look like at a 40C... and decided that was MUCH too big. I was really hoping to stay around a 38C/40B, which I thought looked OK on me.
The universe has a sense of humor, apparently. Depending on the bra, now I'm usually 42DD/40DDD. (I was professionally fitted and came out 38D, but that's in Wacoal, which apparently runs small compared to "department store" sizes. And I may need to go bra shopping again soon, as the Wacoal are getting a little tight. *sigh*) Quite honestly, although I've adjusted, I'm afraid they're going to keep growing and I'm going to need to consider a reduction. Another irony, since I'd hoped not to have to surgically mess with my breasts.
(My mother is 36B. Clearly I take after the other side of the family!)
Small. A, B at the largest. As long as they're big enough to legitimately wear a bra, I'll be happy. If they were weightless, then larger would work, but big tits seem to be a big pain in the ass.
Now big ass, that's another story...
I also prefer having smaller breasts. I'd prefer a large B cup.

How do you hide 34D boobs? I'm a 34C (ratio: 36";32.5") although I could be a 32C. But I can't hide them no matter what. I guess if I wore a shirt that was three sizes too big I could. But even pre-HRT when I was a 36A/B (ratio: 35; 36.75) people asked me questions all the time about why I have boobs.
I think a lot of it depends on shape though. You could have some volume that makes them a certain size but you need shape to really make them pop. I know when I look at pictures of women who get BA so I can compare the way my boobs look to another girl's, it always seems like I am at best an A cup or B cup. I mean my pre-HRT chest didn't look boobish at although they protruded enough but now with my shirt off I look like I have boobs. Well, I do have boobs lol
Anybody else have this problem? That you look at other girl's chests and it seems like you are smaller then you are. IDK, maybe it is the way they are iphotographed. I'm only ever looking at BA before and after images. Not porn.

I think I'd prefer to have small, cute boobs. According to genetics and being trans, I can't expect much more than that, but I'm totally okay with that. If I somehow get bigger than an A, I'm certainly not going to complain!

Now here's something I do have some knowledge of as far as human anatomy goes. The earlier you start HRT or some other sort of breast growth supplement, the more "normal" your breasts will look. HRT alone will only bring you as far as your body will naturally grow them but with supplements you can continue this growth to a certain extent. Now on HRT alone, starting late I would imagine that your body has finished developing completely and to start HRT then wouldn't necessarily give you the full development because you didn't "grow" with them.
Now of course I'm young and haven't experienced starting hormonal supplements at a later age. From my experience, and at 22 years old, my buds of breasts I can tell look more natural than someone that started say 10 years later, but I can also tell the difference because testosterone dictated my body's physique and shape much through my development so neither will I have full natural normal looking breasts.
I'm quite happy with the size and contour of mine, yes I'd like them more full (rounded) but hey, they're bewbs and a LOT of fun to play with, as-is.

I will be happy with small boobs, but it would be fantastic to have a B or C cup. I really need to diet and slim my waist. That's very important to me.

Well mine resemble the stage four but I'm really not sure. When I compare them they look like a 34 B. They're pretty big. In fact, bigger then many women I know. I guess it is really academic since I'm pretty happy overall. But when do they stop growing? I've been on HRT for 5.5 months. I can't imagine they will keep growing at this rate.
But yeah that's what I am worried about: the fullness. I feel like they need more shape or somthing. I am going to start wearing a bra. That gives em shape lol
I have noticed, after being on HRT for 18 months, that mine are starting to fill out a bit...the sides are getting a little rounder, more than the previous "flat" (or "cone-like") contour. I don't feel they're getting "taller", but they are growing outwards a bit. The first few months I could tell they were getting taller (ie, more protruding from the chest), but that seems to have stopped or slowed...most of the current itchiness associated with a growth cycle is on the outer curvature on both breasts.

I never actually had that "itchiness" but when I did hit a growth spurt my chest felt really sore for about a week. Sore to though touch especially at the nipples and any pressure against my chest.

Now I'm starting to get itchiness and a prickly sensation on the bottom of my boobs and on the outside. It feels like it is under the breast bud. I read this one account of a teen girl and she said her buds eventually grew to the size of a door knob. I'm about halfway there. Crazy as I am an early 30something. I'm hoping for 34Ds. Or just Cs that are full and have shape, especially inner breast shape so I don't need tape to create cleavage.

Your body chemistry will dictate what size you get, but there's supplements you can take to bring it a little further. 34D though that would be impressive in my opinion and something I would be proud of. I'm not overweight at all, just very fit, and my 44A doesn't look like much at all, and given my natural body shape a 42D I think wouldn't be out of the ordinary for a woman my size. Something I've noticed is that your boobs tend to follow your body shape. I expect at least C-cups for myself at least and for now I hope for a D-cup but in all reality the only control I have over that is the supplements I'll take and HRT.
The last time I could feel my buds, they (and the breasts) were about that size ("a squishy golf ball")...after that, they developed into honest-to-goodness bewbs, complete with the underboob curve and a little cleavage (my chest is wide (46" band), so the inner part of the B's are about 2" apart...for proper non-assisted cleavage they should be about an inch apart).
Maybe bud was the wrong word. More glandular tissue. That's what the bud develops into I believe. I have underboob and side boob but I can still feel the bud which I believe is now more glandular tissue. It spreads outward it isn't just under the nipple. Then it is surrounded by fatty tissue. But I believe the bud (gladular tissue) keeps growing and grwing. I could be wrong. I am getting pain in areas all around the tissue now which I think means the tissue is expanding even farther throughout the breast.

For me... I'd be fine with like a B-cup, which is more than likely what I'm going to get because my mom is a C-cup, and that seems to be the female average in my family. But like Suzi said, I'll be fine with having any. And if it ends up more than expected, I'll just get used to it like Heather was saying. I tend to randomly run or jump at times, so I was going to take a page from my cousin's book and just wear a sports bra almost all of the time. Hehe. She is an athlete, which is why she does that. Me? I'm just random. If I feel like I've got to run, I do. And yeah... I agree with Joanna about shape being more important. That is what I worry more about, that I'll look weird. Heh. But I guess the worrying is always typical pre-HRT. Lol.

I had similar results...after a few months, I could had breast tissue even on the side of the chest (sounds "wrong", but breast tissue does extend almost to the armpit) and small buds. Elevation of the nips was about 1" over the chest. (with my "guy" body, I had zero elevation)

I know I should be thankful to develop breasts without estrogen or anything except life itself and to even have breasts but I can't help but envy other woman's breasts both for their shape and them being bigger than mine. In other words I want bigger breasts. I'm not sure the cup size I want since "sadly" I don't know how big breasts are in cup sizes and I don't want ridiculously HUGH breasts but I do want bigger breasts than what I've got now, like at LEAST 2-3 times the size they're at right now.

It is just a matter of personal preference. Breasts are a secondary sex characteristic and closely associated with "femaleness." Many natal women want larger breasts, but breast reductions are also a common cosmetic surgery.

I'm not sure the cup size I want since "sadly" I don't know how big breasts are in cup sizes and I don't want ridiculously HUGH breasts but I do want bigger breasts than what I've got now, like at LEAST 2-3 times the size they're at right now.
To find out what size you'd like, put on a bra and fill the cups with individual socks (not pairs "in a ball", but one-sock, two-sock, three-sock etc) until both cups are about the same desired size, then measure the "band" size around the chest but under the cups...then measure the "bust" size (around the chest but directly over the nipples; don't deform the socks within).
The bust measurement should be 1-8 inches larger than the band size...
A = 1"
B = 2"
C = 3"
D =4"
etc.
That'll get you in the ballpark for size.
