So my family (16 of us) went out to dinner tonight at a fancy restaurant in san francisco, there were 2 waiters. An older one and a younger one. The younger one served me with the women (served women first, then the men), and wouldn't gender me, everyone else, he would ask "sir, do you want parmesan cheese" or "ma'am" (stuff like that), to me, he WOULDN'T gender me once. The older one would serve me with the men and would say "sir".
I'm 100% in "guy mode", so I'm not trying to pass whatsoever (never have tried to pass anyways, I was always hoping to seamlessly slip from male to androgynous to female). But it seems like the transition between male and androgynous has begun :D
What a rad waiter ;D. May I know what you had for courses? xD

Haha same! There is one cafe that i go quite often to with friends for lunch. Each time i go the guy taking orders at the counter will go through the queue asking 'What would you like sir? or you alright mate, what would you like?' and likewise with the women 'hello darling, yes miss' etc. Each and every time he will just say a flat 'yes?' to me or something of the like. The cook is a lot nicer and at least wishes us a pleasant lunch. Btw i keep going back because the food is delicious and quite cheap :)
Sounds like a spectacular dinner!

Salad with tiny little baby shrimp, (now i'm going to go online and look at the menu, complicated stuffs!), Risotto con Porcini - Wild Mushrooms, Veal Scaloppine Marsala (we had a choice of chicken, veal, or fish, I chose veal), and then dessert, which was something like pudding with strawberries on top (pudding consistency, it wasn't pudding).
My 16 person family finished 6 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of champagne. When the young waiter put my salad down with the women, one of my family said "I guess they just skipped us, then", talking about my grandpa and my dad, someone else said "oh, no, they're serving the women first" And then they noticed that I was served already. They commented to me about it but I'm not out to my extended family yet, so I just said "lucky me".
The other day my uncle commented on how I look a lot younger than the last time I saw him, and then my cousin said she was going to say the same thing. 'dem hormones!

Shrimp! Icky. Risotto looks pretty 'meh', while Veal Scaloppine looks nice.
That seems like a lot of alcohol :D. Your families bigger than mine xD. And you were totally lucky :P.
Pfft. I look younger ;] (kidding).
