Hey hey folks :-)
I really need to get a trach shave. Its got to the point where its really bothering me a lot.
I was hoping someone could recommend me a place to get it done?
Thankies! :-)

Hi Akira
Why does it have to be the UK where there seems to be very little on offer? I would strongly recommend you look just across the channel to Belgium where Dr Van de Ven (Ghent) does really good tracheal shaves with pretty well no visible scrarring.
Cheers.
Donna
Oh, yeah I don't suppose it does. I really just wanted to say I am in the UK, so I was thinking people from round this side of the pond might know :-)
I love Belgium too, esp the Flemish parts :-)
I don't suppose you know roughly how much I should look to paying for this do you? There are no costs on Dr Van de Ven's website.
Thanks again :-)

HI,
I have no precise idea of the cost but think I remember seeing it was between 1500 - 2000€. I did a very extensive FFS with Dr VdV but no tracheal shave as it was not required.
Easiest would certainly be to send him a message.
Cheers.

Hi Akira,
Dr Van de Ven makes regular trips over to London to hold consultations at the Four Seasons Hotel, Canary Wharf. You can book an appointment online for next time he is over here.
I got quoted 1,600 Euro's for the trachea shave and a CT scan of the trachea prior to the operation.
Btw where abouts in the UK are you based? I'm down in London :)
Thanks :-)
Yep, I have asked him for price indications and I will book in for a consult.
I am in Warwickshire in the Midlands.
Thanks again :-)
For some reason i thought you was Danish lol
