Title: Breast growth after orchiectomy?
Post by: Oriah on August 19, 2013, 08:32:36 PM
After a couple of years on HRT I've started to think my breasts are about as large as they'll ever get....but I was wondering, does having orchiectomy done and stopping antiandrogens cause more breast growth?  I've recently gone through a similar procedure, and without androgen in my system (apart from those produced in my adrenals) I was wondering if I should expect a bit more growth.  I've noticed in the past week or so they are rounding nicely though not exactly getting bigger.

Has anyone who's had orchiectomy done noticed/not noticed extra breast growth afterwards?

It depends on a lot of factors. I have heard a lot of women get boob growth for up to five years and experience more after SRS. But if you do not have an optimal amount of E in your system and the E that is there is being used to combat T instead of activate estrogen receptors and other estrogen sensitive tissue, then yes you should get more growth. I mean if someone was on very low dose HRT for years and then started high dose HRT I would imagine they'd get more growth. But this is all conjecture. I don't know.

I really did not notice any growth till about last year.  I was a small B per-orchi (2009).  Now I am a a C cup.  So there was some growth.
