I have not been able to afford SRS. I have been to Doctors asking to have both my testicles and scrotum removed and none of them will do it. Any advice is welcome.
If you have the proper letters most of the SRS/GRS/GCS surgeon also do just orchies.

I have ask two urologist locally and they both told me I was crazy.
I have had prostate problems in the past so I ask him to just remove them. That would solve several issues at the same time,it seemed to me anyway!
Removing the scrotum is a bad idea. It's precious material for SRS, if/when you can afford it. Removing the testicles however should be very doable. You need to go to a surgeon who agrees that being trans is a valid reason for removing healthy organs though, and that's far from all of them. I'd suggest consulting with whoever is the trans health professional who's been seeing you. If that person is a doctor, too, they should be able to precribe you an orchiectomy, and with a prescription, I doubt many doctors will argue.
I been wanting a orchiectomy really bad, cause its going to be a long time till I can afford or get a loan for SRS. Best of luck to you.
Hmm, I guess that if the doctor understands, no need for a prescription, eh. Also, I feel for you. It sounds rather sad to never be able to afford SRS. I mean, I know I can't save much money for a long time, but I can cling to the hope of being able to in the future, at least. *Pat*
PS: Funny, that cartoon character looks old, but more like 90s old. I would have never guessed it was from as far away as the 80s.
I also went for an Orchi, because I did not know when I could afford an SRS. Best decision I ever made.
That is the reason I want to have it done sooner the better.

I forgot to mention this..even if you leave the scrotum in tact. It will shrink a LOT. It did in my case, anyway.
I don't suppose anyone ever considered using prosthetic testicles to maintain the scrotum size. You won't be getting any testosterone from those babies.
I know, but it's still better than nothing. Also, I'm pretty sure that the size can be conserved somewhat by stretching (once the incision has healed though).

There is no way I would be doing that.
Well, it was a mildly sarcastic suggestion. ;)
