I've wondered if anyone has attempted to get surgeons to make their incisions in less conventional ways than the usual double incision that leaves scars under your pecs? I'm uncomfortable with having scars that can clearly be read as "he had top surgery" - even just connecting the cuts to make one continuous scar across my chest would be better than those two very visible ones, though I'd prefer getting diagonal, parallel incisions that look more like I had a bad accident.
Anyway - has anyone had luck with getting a surgeon to do this? What were your results? Reasons you were denied this if you did try and were turned down? Have you been charged higher rates for "personalizing" your surgery?
Thank you all beforehand.
I haven't tried it, but I just wanted to say that from a non-medical perspective, that sounds like a really good idea, and I've never heard anyone even suggest it before.
Really? I'm surprised nobody's asked - I could have sworn I saw it mentioned in *some* thread around here, but for the life of me I can't find it.
Why can't the scar be just around the areola?
I don't want to keep my nipples anyway; I don't like them on cis guys, and while I don't particularly care whether anyone actually has them, I'd rather not have them on myself - the double incision lets me get rid of those, and it's a bit better for my bust size.
