Title: Faux Pas
Post by: Just Shelly on August 25, 2013, 11:48:45 AM
Committing a faux pas in style of dress for women can be quite humiliating.....for men I don't think they really care too much.

UNTIL TODAY

On tv their are two golfers dressed identical....ya probably not a shock, but both are dressed in complete orange, white belt and white shoes....and they are paired together....my eyes are blind!!!

Apparently they planned it when they knew they would be paired....the one golfer is known for wearing bright colors....the other not so much!

This just made me laugh! Especially when at first I didn't know it was planned. This is something women avoid at all costs!! There is no way I would like to see someone wearing the same as me....but worse.....LOOKING BETTER!!! :)

If someone wore the same as I did, it would seem that I must have done something right, usually.

I never understood the need to not wear what anyone else is.  Not that the opposite would be great either as we are all individuals.

Oh most definitely! I always look at other women's styles and try to emulate theirs. Specially age related.

I have in fact worn some identical outfits other women have had on that I've seen out....its just I wouldn't want to run into someone with the identical outfit on.

Not fun to go to a wedding and be mistaken for someone else all night!!

I knew a group of girls in high school that always color matched their outfits but yeah seeing someone wearing the same outfit as me would not be fun if i was still wearing it. However seeing someone copy an outfit or look I had done would be flattering I think.
